<p>Steve is a singer/songwriter in Austin Tx. He plays in several bands as doing well as solo and pick up gigs. He has a 30 year old reggae band (THE MAU MAU CHAPLAINS) a 20 year old country band(STOP THE TRUCK) and plays for legendary singer/songwriters FREDDY POWERS and SONNY THROCKMORTON.&nbsp;He plays Gypsy Jazz and swing standards with TONY AIROLDI, DAVID CARROLL and PAUL PEARCY. He also plays, from time to time, with rising star, RUBY JANE SMITH. (watch out for her!)&nbsp;Steve can be&nbsp;heard often around Austin. His songs have been covered by several Austin artists, including JON EMERY (OLD SIDE OF TOWN)&nbsp;and&nbsp;CHRIS GAGE&nbsp;and CHRISTINE ALBERT who recorded Steve's song BURNIN' MOONLIGHT (written with ERIK MOLL and RON HICKS)&nbsp;on their CD of the same title. &nbsp;</p><p>STT/MMC also play in Europe, when the tour arises.</p><p>Steve&nbsp;has produced&nbsp;2 STOP THE TRUCK CDs (with bandmate and co-writer, ALAN "MOE" MONSARRAT) a solo CD (With COURTNEY AUDAIN) (including the previously unrecorded MERLE HAGGARD/DOUG COLOSIO tune, SINCE I GAVE UP CIGARETTES)&nbsp;and co-produced a CD&nbsp;with BIANCA DeLEON (OUTLAWS AND LOVERS ).&nbsp;He has gold, platinum and double platinum songs in Norway for artists&nbsp;STEINAR ALBRIGTSEN and RITA ERIKSEN.</p><p>Steve co-produced(with STT guitarist ED FERGUSON)the new STOP THE TRUCK CD. LEGACY,&nbsp;THE SONGS OF FREDDY POWERS.
