We rush through our lives, looking for the final solution
Along the way we leave a lot of pollution
Youre always expected to go the extra mile
Regardless of the debris you leave in a pile
Theres no time for them and no time for you
Ive got important things to do
Ive got to get done and Ive got to get through
After its over Ill get back to you.
Watch what you do in your life
Watch what you do in your life
Watch what you do in your life
Watch what you do in your life
You might not be able to find your way back
You might not be able to find your way back
You might not be able to find your way back
You might not be able to find your way back
Take some time to make a resolution.
To return and clean up your pollution
Its not always good to go the extra mile
If as you go you remove too many a smile
Its never too late to say I love you
Its the most important thing you can do
Lets forgive someone and start anew
After your gone they will miss you.
Watch what you do in your life
Watch what you do in your life
Watch what you do in your life
Watch what you do in your life
And then youll be able to find your way back
And then youll be able to find your way back
And then youll be able to find your way back
And then youll be able to find your way back

This ditty may seem a bit preachy and self righteous but it is actually introspective rather than extroverted. This song is about how your perspective changes when you think your time is up. The week before Labor Day I had to fly to Frankfurt, Germany for business. Halfway across the Atlantic the pilot came on the intercom and told us we had to make an immediate u-turn due to electrical problems and return to the nearest airport in the US with the proper facilities. Like WTF does that mean?
Prior to this announcement I was obsessed with business thoughts and the upcoming meeting, as the subject was of the reorganization of my department. After this announcement all I could think of is my wife and kids, and dog (yes, in that order) oh yes and God. Funny, how he pops up at these times. Anyway this is just my version of the age-old message about enjoying life and appreciating your loved ones before you bite it.

This has a rawness which I liked. Distinctive vocals with a great delivery. Some great lyrics. Musically the acoustic has a mellow sound which takes the edge from the lyrics. This was an enjoyable listen thanks

Solo artist using digital recording and the internet to share some musical experiences and have great fun. Rock music is what I grew up with but I try to appreciate all genres of music and levels of musicianship.
The first time I heard an electric guitar I knew it was the instrument I wanted to play and gear is half the fun. Current gear is a Fender Telecaster, Fender 50th Ann. American Deluxe Stratocaster, Carvin CT6C, Ibanez AK86DVS hollow body, Epiphone Les Paul Custom, Martin DCX1E electric/acoustic , and a Yamaha RBX-170 bass. Amps are a Fender Cyber Deluxe with enhanced foot controller switch, Peavy Blazer 158 and a Crate BT15 bass amp. For recording I use Line 6 amp models with a small UB 802 Behringer mixer. Line 6 Guitarport and Rifftracker and Sonar software.
