Out in Arizona man the summers are hot
The sun will fry your brain if you like it or not
The temperature hovers around 110
at 6:30 in the morning in Gila Bend
By noon its reached 115 or so
and it looks like my radiator’s about to blowamn it looks like I’ll be walking again
and it’s a long long way from Gila Bend
In Arizona summers you better stay inside
If you don’t your skin gets fried
Blisters on your shoulders and your face all red
The pain is so bad you that wish you were dead
When you get in your car you can’t touch the wheel
The thing is so hot a burn you will feel
After the air conditioner runs a bit
It might cool off enough to finally touch it
The sidewalks a place you can fry and egg
You get so thirsty you can drink a keg
If it wasn’t for AC we would all die
And if we lose the power we start to cry
You might wonder why we live in this place
Where the climate is a lot like it is in Hades
There’s no other place that I want to go
Because I’d rather fry my **** than be buried in snow

It sort of has a rockabilly sound to it. You did a good job on the vocals, perfect for the style of this tune.

I've baked a bit in the AZ sun - Happy to remember it in song, and not have to drive thru in my 74 civic ( With no A.C. ) again !

Solo artist using digital recording and the internet to share some musical experiences and have great fun. Rock music is what I grew up with but I try to appreciate all genres of music and levels of musicianship.
The first time I heard an electric guitar I knew it was the instrument I wanted to play and gear is half the fun. Current gear is a Fender Telecaster, Fender 50th Ann. American Deluxe Stratocaster, Carvin CT6C, Ibanez AK86DVS hollow body, Epiphone Les Paul Custom, Martin DCX1E electric/acoustic , and a Yamaha RBX-170 bass. Amps are a Fender Cyber Deluxe with enhanced foot controller switch, Peavy Blazer 158 and a Crate BT15 bass amp. For recording I use Line 6 amp models with a small UB 802 Behringer mixer. Line 6 Guitarport and Rifftracker and Sonar software.
