I like the Epic sound of what you do. Big but not clutterd. All the sections are very deliberate.

I love the sound of your instrumentation on this and another song I just previewed. Very well done. Yeah, the echo is a bit excessive to our ears, but it's not like some of the Euro-rock stuff I've heard in years past, and it's not particularly botherosn to me. You guys have a very creative flair.

Fantastic intro segments. They set up the more rock and roll vocals perfectly. Great energy in this song, sense of urgency. I'm going to be listening to more cause this stuff is just GREAT!!

This is one well-put-together tune. Solid, driving beat with fine musicians to keep it moving ahead. The vocals are very, very good, and I'm with DICARLO - bring 'em up in the mix a bit. The best of progressive rock is right here.

I di like a bit of prog rock from time to time...atmospheric intro, tastful leads and good old hard-core rock! Some great playing on this one. Nice!

Haunting classic rock, good vocals and solos. I also like the build-up in the opening of the song. Has a bit of Toto feel here.
SURVIVAL is a Dutch Progressive/Symphonic Rock band, founded in 1981 by keyboard player & composer Jack Langevelt.
Inspired by classic bands likeELP, Trace, Camel, Ekseption, Procol Harum and Deep Purple, SURVIVAL brings epic songwriting and intensive passion back to the forefront with contemporary sensibilities, energy and production. The sound of SURVIVAL is characterized by strong dynamic melodies with odd time signatures and epic themes.
Survival existed as a band between 1981 and 1997, although Jack continued making music under the name Survival. In 2008 Survival arose from its ashes and released their first official album Crusader on Musea Records.
This all instrumental album, with guest appearances by David Dexter and Mario Roelofsen on guitar, was composed, recorded and produced by Jack Langevelt and received very positive reviews.
Presently Survival is back again in a new line up, with Inez v/d Linden as new Manager (known for Rick v/d Linden/Ekseption/Trace) and a new Bookings Agency. At this moment they are working on a new CD.
