I'm feeling down and dirty I want to hang my head and cry I'm needin' my prescription to ease my troubled mind
Can't ignore what I'm feelin' that would make me a fool there's only one solution Gotta' Get Back to the Blues
this life that I am living is filled with shades of gray Every lesson in my life I learned the hard way
I'm standin' at the crossroads which way will I choose goin' 80 miles an hour Gonna' Get Back to the Blues
feelin' bad can feel so good feelin wrong can feel so right feelin' sad aint always bad gets me thru the night
there's 3 sides to every story yours, mine and the truth there's an answer to my question Gotta' Get Back to the Blues
Bridge: bottom line feelin' fine aint all it's cracked up to be cause feeling blue, can get you thru it's always worked for me gonna let myself go, don't you know time to set myself free getting myself back to the blues is where I wanna be
Gotta' Get Back to the Blues Gotta' Get Back to the Blues
That's where I wanna be

I think that my favorite genre to actually play is the Blues. I guess you could say I am a Blues man in my heart. I have been writing in many genres my whole life, just trying to create great songs, but lately I have felt that it was time to get back to my roots, "The Blues" so here's my quintessential Blues song for your listening pleasure. It's a straight 12 bar blues with everything a blues artist would want to find in a blues song. Classic references, soulful performance, blues harp and lead guitar and lyrics that encompass all the great blues themes. I hope you enjoy it.

Ted Lehman was born on Long Island, a child of the 60's and 70's. His musical styles tend to run from Rock to blues to pop, country and folk. Ted has been writing and playing music for most of his life. His band "Pepperwood Greene" based out of Buffalo NY, was a vehicle for songwriters to produce their music. After leaving Buffalo Ted moved to Atlanta and, worked for a number of years writing and recording at home. Ted's music has been extremely well received by his musical peers and the public and has yielded almost 20 other independent artists to cover his songs. "After spending most of my life writing and recording music I find that I have a rather large archive of written and recorded material. I consider myself a songwriter first and performer and recording artist second." Ted is interested in other artists covering his songs. He is also interested in licensing his compositions and recordings for TV, Film, Advertising, & Video Games.
