Thank You & Goodnight began as a solo project which spawned from the mind of lead vocalist Brock Andrews. His love of music, and desire to play music professionally for others drove him into the studio with 5 songs. He recorded TY&G's first EP in the studio with long time friend Chad Deutsch. Upon completion of the album, Andrews recruited Chad for lead Guitar, and Keyboards, Phillip Arthur on Bass, and Brett Lay behind the kit. The quartet quickly perfected their live performance, and began playing shows regularly. However, in December of 2009, due to disagreements on where the band was headed, the group disbanded, leaving Andrews to re-form TY&G.

After months of searching, and a few different line-up changes, the band seems to have found their final line-up. Caleb (originally a guitarist) switched from the bass guitar and quickly found his place behind his six-string. The addition of Daxton Koons on bass, and the final addition of John "Johnny" Walther on the drum kit, the band have been practicing relentlesly, and writing new material to add to their arsenal of catchy hooks, driving beats, and meaningful lyrics that has become ThankYou&Goodnight's driving force for the past year.

Thank You & Goodnight are scheduled to go into the studio this fall to record a new EP with producer Jason Andrews of Spotlight Studios, and hope to have a full length album put out by summer of 2011. Check back for more on the band as they continue to make music for you to enjoy.
