"Alive Forever" by the b.a.s.i.c. band

A b.a.s.i.c. band original song. This song deals with life and death. I had been very seriously ill for some time and wasn't expected to live. We have been trusting God with my life for the past several years now. Then a friend of ours also got very sick and died. Sometimes people we love leave before we want them to, and we don't always understand. We will someday. The life we have here on earth is short compared to living forever with Jesus. Our souls are already living for eternity. They don't die. We just get new bodies! I hope in my time, in this body of mine, I can reach out to anyone who is in need. I only hope I can inspire someone like others who have gone on before me, have inspired me. We have been dealing with sickness for a long time, so much that death was real for us. We also had someone die from cancer, which got us to thinking about life! You can't have one without the other. We don't have to be afraid for our loved ones or ourselves because He promised us that He has a place prepared for us where He is also. And there, we won't be sick or just trying to get through life. We will see Him face to face! He promises us in His Word (the bible).
