A song for Rob Grant
and HEAL, I weal, MY BUD!!! With songs like this and friends like you.....I've got no where to go but FORWARD and UP!! I love the bass theme, in this song.....and is that a COWBELL, I hear?!?!?!?! MORE COWBELL!!! Hehehehehehehehehee, I had to say that.....that cowbell skit from SNL is one of the funniest ever.......Seriously though, I loved that addition of percusssion. It really addedd a worldly feeel to the whole song. Your 6 string work is perfectly soothing........What a GREAT piece of art, you have dedicated to me....THANK YOU !!
Rob
We enjoyed stopping by and listening to your lovely tribute to Rob. Excellent in every way.
Hey I love the old familar sound of the chorused or phased type guitar! I miss that sound and it's great to hear it again. The bass and India precussions are just too cool!
Nice one!
Farrell
soundin good don.. like the auto wah phased clean guitar.. it's a lovely progression and bassline with the ethnic percussion.. a bit raga.. or indonesia.. what a great recuperation on a warm
sunny isle somewhere south.. heal is the deal.. I sure like how it makes me feel.. cheers GP..
Beutiful ballad with great harmonies and wonderful progression of this gentle recording in Barcley James Harvest tradition. I like this very very much! Pascal
bass line is awesome grumpy!! my sub is thumping. guitar work is very cool. you have a great sound on it. I like the effects you added. I think Rob will enjoy it!
Excellent. Love the little percussive things in this song. Lovely swells and chorus effect on the guitar. It kind of has an Eastern sound to this -- mixed with an updated San Fran/Dead psychedilic vibe. Cool toon, no matter how you cut it.
Love the percussion in this, tabla ?
Beautiful flowing piece, and good to see you put the bass to the fore for Rob
Lovely tone on that guitar as well mate.
The swells were really cool .
This in D major?
Has that real upbeat major feel to it,light and warm.
Excellent that you have done a piece for Rob
Greatly enjoyed.
Nigel.
