Nice choice of chords for that intro,the discordant feel sets the stage nicely.
Very flowing piece,smooth and yet witha great sense of rhythm,and that rhythm guitar just keeps on growing.
The mid section is sparkling!!
Vocals are excellent.
Very contemporary feel indeed to the whole song,one could well imagine hearing this on the TV music channels,and fitting in completely.
A very enjoyable listen.

First off, I'm a sucker for muting the strings for percussive effect. +1 Bonus point. Second, the composition of this is really interesting. The guitar/vocal unison melody thing is very well done. +1 Bonus points. The guitar tone is good too. Well... You get the idea...
This is a Winner because it is a really interesting/good listen... You didn't really need the Bonus points for this tue to work. I was just telling you which parts stood out for me.

You create some neat instrumental tension in that opening. What makes a good story? Tension between the characters. It also works with instruments. This song is filled with it, and it works perfectly. I love this -- and that says a lot coming from an old rocker like me. Good job all around.
