The Former Band was "Bread Gone Stale" unfortunately the singer of the band quit and it left Michael withought a band. When Michael started to close the official myspace page for "Bread Gone Stale" Jeremy Cox, Lead Vocalist and Bassist, asked Michael if he would like to start a band together. After a few weeks of deciding on a official band name, they came up with the name. "The Drop Outs" for a month the band had no drummer or bassist. at the time Jeremy was only the lead vocalist. Luckily Jeremy knew a Bassist with the name Zach Wampler. Zach was an amateur bassist but he was suited for the band.Zach didn’t really like the name the "The Drop Outs" so he suggested that we change the name to something else. Jeremy being his usual self decided to make an idiot out of himself, and grabbed a book off a shelve, and it happened to have the name Underfire. The whole band agreed to it. A few months of troubling practices. we had to unfortunately let Zach go because of religious reasons.

A few months later, michael knew a guy by the name of Ben Colbert, Rhythm Guitarist. He was hired just before the school talent show. Ben learn how to play the songs of Underfire in a very quick matter. unfortunately the band still did not have a drummer or a bassist. so Jeremy had to learn the bass part of the song "My Problem" in a day, while having to be able to sing the song. Playing and singing for Jeremy just flew to him. it seemed like he knew how to play the bass right from the begining. Luckily Jeremy knew a local Drummer from the Band "Flipper". His name was John Harmon. Underfire Played at the school talent show and basically stole the crowd from the other performances. Underfire got alot of appreciation from other students and even the janitors in the high school. The Band to this day is still getting recognition for this deed.

Even though the band was a big hit in the talent show, they still did not have a drummer. Michael knew a guy by the name of Alex Shaw, the drummer. Jeremy and Michael agreed that he was perfect for the band right after playing one song with him. Underfire is now finally a whole band after 5 months of practicing.

Underfire found a new bassist to take place for JC, because the songs they are starting to compose involve to intense vocals for JC to play and sing.
