<p><strong>Vickie McKisic is one of the best singers and songwriters in the city of Atlanta, Georgia. Upbeat and enthusiastic, she is often referred to as "Lyrick". In 1987 she co-wrote her first released song entitled, <em><span style="text-decoration: underline;">"Baby I'm Hooked</span>"</em>, for former <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em>TABU RECORDS</em></span> rcording artist, <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em>KATHY MATHIS</em></span>. This brought her recognition in the 1987 issue of <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em>Billboard Magazine.</em></span> In 1998,<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em> Lotacha Scott</em></span>, of the singing group <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em>XSCAPE</em></span> , introduced Vickie to GrammyAward Winning Producer and Songwriter, <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em>Mr. Darryl Simmons,</em></span> of Silent Partner Productions, in Atlanta, Georgia. As a result of this union, Vickie's writing and vocal talents have been displayed on a movie soundtrack,<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em>"The Associate"</em></span>, staring <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em>Whoppi Goldberg and featuring Wynonna Judd,</em></span> major label artist Cds: <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em>Aretha Franklin's</em></span> <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em>"A Rose Is Still A Rose"</em></span>, <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em>Diana Ross's</em></span> <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em>"Everyday Is A New Day"</em></span>, <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em>CeCe Winan's</em> <em>"Everlasting Love"</em></span>, <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em>Chante Moore and Kenny Lattimore's</em></span> soundtrack for the play <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em>"Things That Lovers Do</em></span> , <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em>Ann Nesby</em></span> and many others. Vickie also wrote and sung jingles for <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em>The Bronner</em> <em>Brothers</em></span> hair product,<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em> "African Royale"</em></span> , and The Brothers Of The Word television theme songs, <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em>"The Right Now Word"</em></span>,<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em>" Brothers Of The Word"</em></span>and she wrote songs and sung background for The Bronner Brothers albums,<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em>"Self Conscious"</em></span> and<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em>"MillionDollar"</em></span>, and <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em> Bishop Dale Bronner's</em></span> first album,<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em>"If You Slip Don't Slide"</em></span>. In 2006 Vickie produced, arranged and sung background vocals for , <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em>"The Stroke Song"</em></span>, featuring <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em>Pastor Nathaniel Bronner</em></span> and <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em>Nigel Andrew</em></span>. </strong></p><table class="uiInfoTable mtm profileInfoTable"><tr><td class="data"><strong>Originally from Georgia, Vickie began singing and writing at about age eight. she began her career by singing in church, in talent shows, fronting r&b clubs and later entering competitions with radio stations for consecutive years, she placed in the National Budweiser Showdown Competition. Each year her songs advanced to the finals. her first solo single, <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em>"Burning Hot"</em></span> in 1987 charted with radio station Kiss 104.1 in Atlanta, Ga in the <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em>Black Radio Exclusive Magazine</em></span>. in 1990, she was honored in<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em> Echo Magazine in London, England</em></span> for co-writing five songs on the self-titled <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em>"Synethia"</em></span> blues album. In 1999, Vickie was privileged to accompany recording artist<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em> Jesse James "Mr I Can Do Bad By Myself"</em></span> of <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em>Gunsmoke</em> <em>Records</em></span> on his summer tour. performing with such artist as<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em> Marvin Sease</em></span>,TheLate great <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em>Little Milton,</em></span> The late great <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em>Jay Blackfoot</em></span> and <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em>Rufus Thomas</em></span>. Vickie seriously believes that faith, dedication, persistence, patients and knowledge are key essential factors for her rise and success in the music industry.
