anks for listening to my music! Everyone please read!

My Name is Kyle, I am in a wheelchair and have cerebral palsy. I have been playing keyboards and writing my own songs for a year now. From an early age, I started listening to bands such as the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and The Doors. The first Beatles album I heard was Abbey Road. My dad would play a different Beatles album every sunday on his turntable and thats when my appreciation for Blues and Classic Rock Music began.

I didnt always know that I wanted to play keyboards and write songs until one day when i heard the Doors song "light my fire" on the radio. I have always liked thee organ intro and solo in that song and wanted to learn to play it. My dad bought me a yamaha keyboard, which was a good keyboard for my first keyboard. I have always liked Ray Manzarek's keyboard playing technique and have always enjoyed listening to The Doors live concerts when Ray would improvise on keyboards.

One of the biggest challenges i faced when learning keyboards was knowing that I could not play chords because of my limited hand use and coming up with my own style of playing. When Ray played keyboards in the Doors, he was also the Bass player, which meant that he would play his Gibson Organ with one hand and his Rhodes Piano Bass with the other. This is how I play keyboards, with one hand and instead of playing actual chords, I play the single notes within the chord to make the full chord. This is my own style.

My goal in writing songs is to inspire people in wheelchairs to write songs or play keyboards. I believe that even if you have limitations and if you really want to play keyboards, guitar, bass, drums, it might take a little practice but if you dont give up eventually you will be able to play, guitar keyboards, etc.

I hope you enjoy listening to my music and i also hope that i inspire people not to give up. I enjoy playing keyboards and writing songs and will continue to make music because its something I am good at. Thank you for your continued support of my music and became a fan if you like what you hear!

Thanks for reading,

Kyle
