Jennilee,Everything was gone from your placewhen I raced back home.Whitney said she'd been out since dawn.We called the cops, and they came up and looked...
We called the cops, and they came up and looked around.
Made their rounds...
We've learned nothing's people proof.
Nothing's people proof.
Nothing's people proof.
Not from people.
Not from people.
No no no.
Nothing's left except some trash in the lawn.
Can't help to think what the crooks will get from the pawn.
I'd give it all, that I have left, to have things from Grandpa and from Grandma.
We've learned nothing's people proof.
Nothing's people proof.
Nothing's people proof.
Not from people.
Not from people.
No no no.
Not from people.
Not from people.

I had a dream about a friend of mine named Jennilee. She lives in my hometown with her roommate Whitney. In the dream I was crashing at her place and I came back to find the place had been robbed. And as the song suggests we called the authorities and they didn't do much. Infact, in the dream they asked us to call them if we found out where our stuff was. Ha! Anyways...A bunch of personal stuff gets taken from all of us and we learn that nothing is safe from the dark grasps of people. Nothing is people-proof.

Again, I love the lyrics. Still to sell this tune you need a little tighter mix. I do love enjoy the melodies and the musicianship is very solid in this piece. Thanks for the listen.

What a strange plot for a song. Musically speaking, I think this is great work. I've always enjoyed your unique & original creations, Will. All the best / Mike

Just read the song info, an unusual inspiration. You have done a nice job of work here. The piece is lush with some very nice instrumentation. Vocals are easy but they seem a bit far back in the mix. Not sure if that is intentional to work with the tone of the number. That aside this was a good listen well done

Born in Montgomery, AL. The only son and middle child of a loving modern day American family. Grew up writing music on piano and guitar using multiple tape casstte players to multi track at the tender age of eight and nine. Went to Berklee College of Music to pursue songwriting. Met the other members of Chet and formed a group. Some of the songs you will hear are performed by Chet or members of. Will moved to Atlanta with Joe Koubek (lead guitarist of Chet) and is now working at Nickel and Dime Studios to record other folks and perfect his craft. Will also enjoys talking about himself in the third person.
