Hello! my name is William Carstairs.I took up music about 4 years ago after my little dog,Bambi(Chihauhau)died.I was in Reading one day, this was 4 years after Bambi had died and I was still in mourning, and I heard someone playing panpipes and I fell in love with them.So I bought my own and practised for up to 8 hours a day.In the end I got good enougth to go out busking.then I started making and selling CDs.during this time I started to learn to play the sax, alto, tenor and saprano, clarinet and flute. It was really hard work.In the end I decided to play only the flute and panpipes. I have been practising on the flute every day for up to six hours a day.I have been playing the flute for 4 months. I know my playing is good, just for you guys who have only just started to play the flute, but I have 4 years training behind me with hours a day practising ,so I know how to present music.I have strongs lungs and outstanding breath control.I have just started to play in the 4th octave. If you are a beginner, then my advice is do your own thing,as all great musicians do.Practise.practise and practise.Don't get me wrong. If you have a music teacher then take is or her advice. My theory is best, though.Try it!!!Practise on your flute until you can make the experts look like beginners.Possitive thinking and hard work get resuls.Good luck!website.www.wcarstairs.tripod.com
