"Performing songs is like making your musical creation come to life, like Frankenstein." - - Hollywood, Florida-based Hip Hop artist Willy Wallz, a.k.a L-ONE

With his smooth rolling street-smart rhymes and accessible, genre-melding Hip Hop beats, Willy Wallz is giving people another reason to head to Hollywood, Florida besides half-naked, alcohol-fueled romps during Spring Break.

Growing up among the sandy beaches and bikini clad tourist hot spot, Willy says his coastal locale helped him to "not get boxed in by any certain sound." Willy was influenced by East Coast hip-hop, Miami bass, Southern hip-hop and a taste of West Coast, and he believes he is a mixture of all of them.

Willy’s getting tons of radio play from his latest EP, Hollywood I’m Here, a title that is a ‘shout out’ for his hometown, while Willy is also giving that ‘other’ Hollywood in California a kick in the ass to let ‘em know he’s rising up and on the way.

Willy has struck a perfect balance between edgy, street-level lyrics and radio-friendly Hip Hop – a sort of urban pop Hip Hop hybrid with "no boundaries," as Willy says, to hold him back.

Within the five songs on Hollywood I’m Here, Willy artfully runs the gamut from flashy jewelry and flashier cars in "Pimp It Hard" to the lustful wordplay of "Appetizer" to the R&B flavored kinky love song lyrics of "So Good."

Willy Wallz isn’t out to be a motivational speaker or ‘the voice of his generation,’ he simply wants to create good music that his listeners can enjoy. For Willy, music is entertainment, and he’s doing his part as an artist to keep listeners entertained and engaged with every song, and able to relate and feel what he’s saying.

Except for God and his mother, Willy says nothing else comes close to his all-consuming love for music.

"There is nothing I am more passionate about than my music. Love is passion, and I love this music thing."
