The Omen

It took me 3 years to put together this particular track, I originally started with a simple bass riff doing A rythme of an 8th note followed by 2 16th notes giving it a "Horse Gallop" effect, and then  alternating the notes stating A,C,G,D. I was kinda stuck  on this simple alternation,even though I could plainly see the modulation possibilities from these 4 notes, I was at a writers block on how to proceed with the rest of it.Then came along a good friend and awesome music artist shane, He took the theme that I had given him and made a rough draft of lyrics and a short melody.ANd then titled it-"The Omen". after that the music started to develop slowly at first, but inside my head, I could keep hearing his vocal parts.It was at that point that another "subliminal"  rythme track was layed under the mix with a simple synth Part that tied in very nicely with the bass rythme.This track would also compliment the vocal melody part that was created by shane at the time. I am still working on this track, It keeps drawing me back to it from time to time. I guess you could say that this is a Work still in progress
