Out of place, lost in space, not a track to run.
A lot of games, fun to play? Not for everyone.
A miracle, its time to see, and you ride.
Friends & foes, folly shows, what a way to go.
You and I, well have to see where the wind blows.
A miracle, its time to see, and you fly.
Doin things that you might want to rewind.
Im living my life on my own time.
Not the way that I was designed.
Youre not where I want to go.
With disgrace, in your face, leaving you alone.
No more games, on the train, like Ive always known.
A miracle, its time to see, and I ride.
I reside, with the tide, thats the way to go.
You and I, well have to see where the storm goes.
A miracle, its time to see, and I fly.
CHORUS
Found a place, not in space, not for everyone.
A lot of games, overplayed, games you cant outrun.
A miracle, its time to see, and with pride.
CHORUS
Just the thought that you wrote and recorded this together with your daughter makes this song mean so much more. I really enjoyed listening to this piece!
I've really missed hearing your voice. You sing this song beautifully, and I assume that's your daughter doing the harmonies. Nicely written track with excellent build up through the verses and the bridge setting those spotlights on that excellent hook. Liked the instrumentation throughout na dht laughter at the finish cracked me up. You've still got it, old buddy.
Cheers
