Ver1 You gonna have to miss me Sunday Morning at the stroke of 10 That weekly dose of fear and faux stylin (gonna have to miss me) Chapter and verse that don’t compute Ruin minds, makin lies look like truth You gonna have to miss me
Ver2 You gonna have to miss me All those lies cloaked in grace A loving being creating a hellfire place (gonna have to miss me) Even though the man says, with the Jet and fine clothes A supreme being don’t need all my cash and dough You Gonna Have to miss me!
Bridge Pascal’s wager means absolutely nothing to me if I can’t live and love here authentically I need a Sunday service for food and clothes Just a distribution center for prayer that works So I follow my heart and not the edicts of others why can’t we love your fellowman, race, belief, creed and color
Ver3 You gonna have to miss me when that roll is called up yonder It really makes me sit and Ponder (gonna have to miss me) Should I spend eternity with the folks from TBN? Or all those burning crosses and claiming Christian? You gonna have to miss me
