Go from me. Yet I feel that I shall stand
Henceforward in thy shadow. Nevermore...
Elizabeth Barrett-Browning (Moulton)
6.3.1806, Durham - 29.6.1861, Florenz
Go from me. Yet I feel that I shall stand
Henceforward in thy shadow. Nevermore
Alone upon the threshold of my door
Of individual life, I shall command
The uses of my soul, nor lift my hand
Serenely in the sunshine as before,
Without the sense of that which I forebore---
Thy touch upon the palm. The widest land
Doom takes to part us, leaves thy heart in mine
With pulses that beat double. What I do
And what I dream include thee, as the wine
Must taste of its own grapes. And when I sue
God for myself, He hears that name of thine,
And sees within my eyes the tears of two.
And when I sue God for myself, He hears that name of thine,
And sees within my eyes the tears of two.
Go from me. Yet I feel that I shall stand
Henceforward in thy shadow. Nevermore
Alone upon the threshold of my door
Of individual life, I shall command
The uses of my soul, nor lift my hand
Serenely in the sunshine as before,
Without the sense of that which I forebore---
Thy touch upon the palm.
And when I sue
God for myself, He hears that name of thine,
And sees within my eyes the tears of two.

This song works beautifully for me. I love the orchestration, the choir, the lead vox, the arrangement, the powerful dynamic changes......WOW!!! very very very nice

Nice ballad, with big production... that heavy rhythm guitar countering the folksy greensleeves reference is an interesting dichotomy... I'm always a sucker for that mellotronish choir patch too! enjoyed it!

I actually love this track. It was various movements and proggressions that you've created and merged here that won me over.
The vocals however, generaly did not work for me. But , nevermind , i love the composition as a whole so much that if it's downloadable i'll have to keep a copy -- and listen again -- GREAT WORK,,-- .

Marijan and Heydline, years ago we both found us over the Internet and we are nearly neighbourhoods(30 km distance). We met us the first time in March 2006 in Marijan`s home and the understanding to each other was as if we knowing us a long long time.So we decided in August 2006 to build a Band and we did it.

Our specialities are very authentical compositions as mixed rock;-folkrock;-classicrock;-pop and bit medieval/celtic elements.
We are children of the 70`s music and want to give this expierence back with our compositions.
