"RAISE SOUTHERN DIXIE," an actual short story by the, Southern Raiders Band, about a couple that was caught by a line of war drawn between the North and South in the Civil War era. (Somebody needs to tell Lynyrd Skynyrd to put this song to life) Yes, we had a Dixie Belle in love with a Union Soldier, but unfortunately, the ending is not as good as you may want, but the story is, AWESOME, if you pay attention to minute details there is also a," hidden story," in this song. The clue would be in the Civil War there were no, kings, but in this song you may pick up on this. What could it be? I'm not pulling your leg, if you listen, it will be as clear as day. In retro, I came up with a lot of this information from research I had done while in college studying, facts about the Civil War, and didn't think that much about," relationships," in this era. Then one day when reading about our family history, concerning one of our relatives that had a relationship in this era, sudden reality hit me, and I started putting these two relationships together. With some intense research, I absolutely discovered a mystery that may have never been found if not for some information that appeared in our, " Family Tree," a definite coincidence, however, allowing me this knowledge to put in this, short story, and here it is in this song I wrote concerning these historic findings. As you can imagine, there were many of these situations happening but we never heard about them. All we hear about is the brutal battles our relatives dealt with, and they were brutal, but however, this is not about our loved ones who went through hell in the battles, whether North or South, we are talking about those love stories that obviously went on at the borders, and only became know when the smoke of the real stuff cleared, and we then we had time to find out about other issues that happened in this horrific battle which included, of course, love stories. Also at the ending of the song leaves the two lying on the beach as you can hear a drummer play, cannons fire, explosions etc. and you can hear horse huffs clang as they are leaving the scene, the very end is pretty cool with these sound effects, check it out...The End.

We also have a third album out that contains some of our popular ballad tunes titled, "Archived Ballads," that you may enjoy as well, this album contains more of a mixed country/rock pop music style, and Wow! One of the songs is even a boogie-woogie, " bop-she-wop," big band sound song :), we'll write anything that sounds good for the fans. Hopefully, there should be something for everyone here on these three digital albums for your music enjoyment and SRB would certainly appreciate and need your support. SRB & Co.
