I got home today and am feeling so relieved to be back though totally exhausted...It was an experience I don`t want to repeat in a hurry...Now I intend to just chill for a few days before I have to get my head back into packing mode......I was three quarters through doing a song to a beat that Ratman sent me just before all this happened...I`d like to finish it before the move...:-)

Once again thankyou so much for the well wishes..

IT`S SO CONFUSING

By Ab2, 2008-09-22
IT`S SO CONFUSING

I`m finding it really difficult to keep tracks of everyone`s name...We all seem to have more than one..Some considerably more...I`m finding it so hard to remember who everyone is...That "The Whites" are actually "The Blacks" and "The Greys", "The Brownies" and "The Greens" too....Now maybe it`s just my age and I`m losing it, or maybe this is a problem for others as well as me.

Hummmm...
If it is just me, then those of you with a few more names than you were given at birth, please forgive me if I don`t know who you are...hahaha, lol...:-)

Peace n love Mags :-)

I heard on the grapevine recently that writing more reviews than one recieves is not good...I heard say that those people who do that, you know, write more reviews than they receive are Wa.ko wa.kers who have little talent...I guess I have to class myself amongst them then....I`ve written quite a few more reviews than I`ve received, maybe that`s because I like to review, like to listen to other people`s music and why not review while I`m listening if I like what I`m listening to regardless of how many I`ve written or recieved...Do I now have to think...Hey, am I writing one more than I`ve received? Damn, where`s the love????? WHERE IS THE LOVE....??? I always thought that music sites were for mutual love, not somewhere to come and give others a kick for having written a few more reviews than others.. ;( Where is the love?

Peace n love Margot x

I chose Rob`s own music to sing HIS song to, have titled it ROBS SONG although his music is titled Suspicious Acts 1...I`ve done a couple of remixes and think now that the vocals are more audible, I guess I rushed too much to get it posted...

Starfish

By Ab2, 2008-03-16
Starfish

Last week my brother took a walk along the shoreline of where he lives in Kent, England. he walks there most days with his camera..He was amazed and devestated to be met by this sight. It streatched for 5 miles I believe and there were thousands upon thousands of them..This is his pic, and was used in one of the national papers. This is an extract from the paper..

"Environment Agency officials are investigating what could have killed the starfish, which had been feeding on mussel beds.

They do not believe the deaths were linked to the recent storms because they were first reported to them last week.

They have also ruled out pollution or anything to do with climate change as the cause.

The agency said officials would investigate if the starfish were discarded by fishermen after the mussel beds were dredged.

A spokesman said: "Starfish congregate in vast numbers in some areas and feed on shellfish, so if the seabed was dredged then the starfish would inevitably have been caught in huge numbers."

Another theory is that the starfish had run out of mussels to eat and had moved into shallow water in the search for food.

The starfish bodies are not harmful and will probably be eaten by seagulls, the agency said. "

I think it`s heartbreaking....I would never have thought that so many little creatures could all die at the same time without being poisoned somehow..

WhereWolf

Hi Guys,

I`ve recently done and am still doing a little collabing with WhereWolf, he gave me the link to his website and I thought it might be nice to share it.......

I found this there, have to say it made me weep......:-) heheee

The Horse Story

Just up the road from my home is a field, with two horses in it. From a distance, each horse looks like any other horse. But if you stop your car, or are walking by, you will notice something quite amazing.

Looking into the eyes of one horse will disclose that he is blind. His owner has chosen not to have him put down, but has made a good home for him. This alone is amazing.

If you stand nearby and listen, you will hear the sound of a bell. Looking around for the source of the sound, you will see that it comes from the smaller horse in the field. Attached to the horse's halter is a small bell. It lets the blind friend know where the other horse is, so he can follow.

As you stand and watch these two friends, you'll see that the horse with the bell is always checking on the blind horse, and that the blind horse will listen for the bell and then slowly walk to where the other horse is trusting that he will not be led astray. When the horse with the bell returns to the shelter of the barn each evening, it stops occasionally and looks back , making sure that the blind friend isn't too far behind to
hear the bell.

Like the owners of these two horses, God does not throw us away just because we are not perfect or because we have problems or challenges. He watches over us and even brings others into our lives to help us when we are in need. Sometimes we are the blind horse being guided by the little ringing bell of those who God places in our lives. Other times we are the guide horse, helping others to find their way.

Good friends are like that... you may not always see them, but you know they are always there. Please listen for my bell and I'll listen for yours.

And remember... be kinder than necessary - everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle

A Dog's Purpose, from a 4-year-old

A veterinarian was called to examine a ten-year-old
Irish Wolfhound named Belker. The dog's owners, Ron, his wife, Lisa,
and their little boy, Shane, were all very attached to Belker, and
they were hoping for a miracle.

I examined Belker and found he was dying of cancer. I told the family
we couldn't do anything for Belker, and offered to perform the
euthanasia procedure for the old dog in their home.

As we made arrangements, Ron and Lisa told me they thought it would
be good for four-year-old Shane to observe the procedure. They felt
Shane might learn something from the experience.

The next day, I felt the familiar catch in my throat as Belker's
family surrounded him. Shane seemed so calm, petting the old dog for
the last time, that I wondered if he understood what was going on.
Within a few minutes, Belker slipped peacefully away. The little boy
seemed to accept Belker's transition without any difficulty or
confusion.

We sat together for a while after Belker's death, wondering aloud
about the sad fact that animal lives are shorter than human lives.
Shane, who had been listening quietly, piped up, 'I know why.'

Startled, we all turned to him. What came out of his mouth next
stunned me. I'd never heard a more comforting explanation.

He said, 'People are born so that they can learn how to live a good
life -- like loving everybody all the time and being nice, right?'
The four-year-old continued, 'Well, dogs already know how to do that,
so they don't have to stay as long.'

Remember, if a dog was the teacher you would learn stuff like:

When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.

Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.

Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be
pure ecstasy.

Take naps.

Stretch before rising.

Run, romp, and play daily.

Thrive on attention and let people touch you.

Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.

On warm days, stop to lie on your back on the grass.

When you're happy, dance around and wag your entire body.

Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.

Eat with gusto and enthusiasm. Stop when you have had enough.

Be loyal. Never pretend to be something you're not.

If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.

When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by and nuzzle
them gently.
