Just heard this on the Ride with Big Pete, this is just phenominal! very epic composition, brilliant performance, has a nice old school feel to it!

kept thinking of Genesis, the post Gabriel-Hackett days when the lads where always doing those great instrumentals on their album that kept them rooted in the progressive rock genre, the keys reminded me a lot of the Tony Banks style, great track.

Very tight playing. Love the arrangement and the changes especially at 2:00. Cool stuff! Has a "Yes feel to it even in the bass. Love it all!

Born in Texas. Moved a lot growing up due to Aerospace Designer dad - lived all over the US. Always the "new kid" with the funny name. Culture shock. Loneliness. Found and collected rocks, crystals, fossils, and such. BMOC due to football (Linebacker), but didn't care much. Started plunking around on a bass guitar at 15 - loved that! Worked hard and bought pro gear at age 16-17 (Acoustic 371 and '69 Ric 4001 bass) and started playing school dances and private parties, and soon grew to playing top clubs across Texas by age 18. Through the years played bass with many Grammy winning and legenadary players. Returned to college at 23. Degrees in Drafting, and Audio Production. Made movies on Super8 and 16mm film, later video, later still local TV production and direction. Worked as independent audio engineer and producer for a few years. Computer animation in early 80s. Produced and directed indie films, music videos, and TV ads. Digital Animator. Graphic design. Ad agencies. Art Director. Started design biz, moved focus more to illustration. Came back to music in my late 40s. Trying to write instrumental music that's original, unique and with a sense of fire and emotion, with little regard for genre - just letting it flow! Hit and miss, but sure is fun trying!
