Alex Addy was born in a barn in a little place called Powderly, Texas which is right outside a little bit bigger place known as Paris, Texas on December 22, 1987. He began playing music at fifteen and hasn't stopped since. His first travelling band he was in was a rock/reggae band called The Tambourine Machine. They released two albums, the first Talking About Love in 2011 under the name of Alex Addy and The Tambourine Machine. The second record dropped the Alex Addy from their name and released a self titled record called The Tambourine Machine in 2013. After the mysterious disappearance of their drummer Sweet Tea while on tour promoting their second album the band decided to call it quits. The drummer was never found... After sometime Mr. Addy began recording again but this time on his own. His third and most recent record Smart Phones for Stupid People was released for free online in late 2015 with the offical release on 6/24/2016 at That Guy's Coffee in Paris, Tx. He is in the process of booking a tour in support of Smart Phones for Stupid People starting in the Spring of 2016. His live shows are a combination of comedy and music. Be on the look out for Alex Addy in a town near you. Also feel free to download for free his new record Smart Phones for Stupid People right here on this site and spread the word.
