hello mixposure,
Some of you may already know, I am launching into a song a week for life, that is....writing and recording a new song every week for the rest of my days....or at least as long as I am physically able to. For those interested in following me on this life long venture, all weekly songs will be posted to my blog every sunday...starting november 3rd, 2013.....here:

Hope to see you all around.
Mac.
There is now a "post to Facebook" function per song. However, it's still not an inline play and is simply a link to the Mix page for that song. Also, it doesn't show the song image. It basically just gives a link.
When will this be resolved to get back to similar inline functionality before the upgrade?
There are many song plays being missed. I belong to MANY music sites and MANY Facebook music groups where I post my songs. While this lack of functionality here on Mix is causing a slow down of plays here, it's doing wonders for my ReverNation status.
So, I've officially caved. I believe I've gone as far as I can with the quality of my songs with what I've been working with for recording (outdated 32bit Windows XP computer and Audacity. I've gone to great lengths, in my opinion, to resolve recording issues and to improve quality. I now feel that I'm getting all I'm going to get with what I have. So, I officially caved, meaning I give up on attempting any further improvement with what I have. That being the case, I bought (at a pawn shop) a Tascam digital 8 track recorder with onboard effects, mix down capabilities, 40 gig internal hard drive, USB to computer hook up, CD burner, SD card slot, hi (1/4" plugs) and low impedance (2 XLR's with phantom power) inputs, faders-eq-punch in and out-effects send-gain-pan on all channels, multi-effects processor with guitar, bass, vocal and drum programs, stereo reverb processor with send/return controls for multichannel mixing, dedicated stereo master track for mixdown.
I have no idea how to use it and the owner's manual is 80 pages long. But I have it and will be attempting to record with it soon. We'll see how it goes. But hopefully this will resolve some of my quality issues....we'll see.
I had the motivation to sign up for a premium account so I can continue posting tracks. All my existing numbers are gone (it would be a bit inconsistent otherwise) but my skills have improved quite a bit, even though my hardware/software arrangements aren't up to scratch. Hopefully you'll enjoy my future tracks anyhow.
I am most frustrated. Once again someone took the time to not only listen to, but to post a review of one of my songs on Mix. For the life of me I cannot find any way to say "Thank You" or acknowledge their act. If there is a way it is certainly not obvious. It just seems that currently the site is preventing artist interaction rather than facilitating it.

Hey Mixposure buddies! I finally joined a cover band and played my 1st gig in 15 years! Since we had no bass player when I joined, I concentrated on doing the bass lines on my shoulder synth. a week and a half before the gig, we found Don, so we ended up having a double bass on most the songs. I played rythm guitars on my keys on a couple of the tunes as well, but mostly bass. Have a look at: http://www.mixposure.com/devodale/youtube/2250/instinct-live-10-19-2013
