<p><span style="color: #99cc00;">HI,I just posted Rainy Day</span></p><p><span style="color: #99cc00;">So thats a good song.......</span></p><p><span style="color: #99cc00;">I been reading quite a bit lately, thought i'd share these little treasures with you</span></p><p><span style="color: #99cc00;"><span style="font-size: large;">what's Sampling?</span>........the book says it's analogue to digital converting....it's your sound card that does this .....and to hear it it's digital to analog converting. </span></p><p><span style="color: #99cc00;"><span style="font-size: large;">Sample Rate ?......<span style="font-size: x-small;">th</span></span>at's how many times per second it converts analog signal</span></p><p><span style="color: #99cc00;">CD quality is now 44,100 bits per second........</span></p><p><span style="font-size: large; color: #99cc00;">What's 16 or 24 bit?.....<span style="font-size: x-small;">16 bits are how the signal is stored</span></span></p><p><span style="font-size: large; color: #99cc00;"><span style="font-size: x-small;">24 bit is higher quality <span style="font-size: medium;">but<span style="font-size: x-small;"> .....you,ll use up twice as much storage space</span></span></span></span></p><p><span style="font-size: large; color: #99cc00;"><span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-size: large;">What's Clipping?....<span style="font-size: x-small;">clipping is when you record at too high a level and the top and bottom of the wave are cut off.......it can cause pops in your mix</span></span></span></span></span></span></p><p><span style="font-size: large; color: #99cc00;"><span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-size: large;">What's Sequencing?.....<span style="font-size: x-small;">it's what writes your midi notes ...your digital keyboard feeds the notes.......duration, pitch, pressure are all recorded. <p>can anybody tell me what the standard frequencies are for the particular instruments......</p><p>like a guitar should be 1kHz or what not</p>
