This is a complete re-recording of the song "Mr. Responsible" which has been up a long time now. I lost the master files to the original recording when a hard drive crashed on my computer right after I finished recording it so I never got to finish mixing and mastering it.I never thought the old version had the sound or feel that I was after. This version is a lot closer to what I had in mind. It's actually finished. I hope you like it!

http://www2.mixposure.com/RS_Cain/song_focus_26693.php

Alot of truth in that saying, Especially if you over analyze things like I do. Not been myself lately. Seems Life gets in the way of Happiness and Fulfilment. Things I wanted to accomplish at 25 never happened and i've turned around and i'm now 41. Where did the time go. Have contemplated on giving up this music making as sometimes I feel those dreams just are not meant to be. If I stop trying though then they will never come true. A wise man told me once," You never fail til you stop trying." Very True.I'm writing this only for my benefit as I need to let this out before it takes hold. Bottled up feelings are never good. Hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving and always be thankful for where we all have come.

Nightrain

Tupac Shakur once said,"I don't see myself being special;I just see myself having more responsibilities than the next man. People look to me to do things for them,to have answers." For music artist/songwriter Self-Xplanatory,there is never a better comparison when it comes to his music. His style and personality thrives throughout the sounds,as expressive as the instruments. Unique and distinguished. Comical, intelligent, yet sexy. Mostly his creativity, which compels the listener on all musical genre levels,to unplug their eardrums. The Release of his 1st Lp 'Self-Xplanatorium Renaissance I' in 2004 created the universal creative platform and blueprint Self-Xplanatory needed,to study,in order to further his stylistic perfection. In 2006 he released his first mixtape entitled, 'O.G.O.D. Renaissance Vol.1' Practicing his diversity and stylistic approach Self-Xplanatory released his 2nd Lp in 2007 entitled,'Self-Xplanation Renaissance II'. With friend and producer Vic Da Creed (from Manchester,Pennsylvania) Self-Xplanatory conquered the meaning of versatility, while fulfilling the enjoyment of story telling, imagination, and life. The Release of his 2nd mixtape in 2009 entitled 'O.G.O.D Renaissance Vol. 2' returned instant popularity amongst fans over the U.S. as they pondered over who could this hip-hop sensation can be. Finding his long awaited stylitic, jazzy, yet comical approach to the music industry as the perfection of Self-Xplanatory,he released his 3rd and 4th Lp's entitled,'Self-Xamination Renaissance III and Self-Xpected Renaissance IV at his album release party in the year 2010 in Madison, Alabama. The harmony of bass and harmonicas ripple through songs like,'Atlantis' or the soft bells and mellow tones of the song entitled,'SxtheGod', allowed Self-Xplanatory to open the ears of the public through natural sounds, meanwhile Self-Xpected reflects the heart and courage of the streets to speak what no other artist could ever do. The Truth.

Hey Everyone!

Pretty soon I will be sending out a notification about setting a DJ Friendly Song Download option. What this means is that when you upload a song, or any current song you have uploaded, there will be a section on the song upload form for, "Allow DJ Download". You will need to set it to Yes or No. This is really for artist who are setting the songs for Stream Only or currently have the song For Sale. As an Artist, you will be able to tell us whether you want our DJ's to be able to Download it and play it on Mix Radio. ONLY THE DJ'S will have access to the download link. Everyone else will see the normal play button and buy button.

Really this is no different than how the radio stations work today. Artist want airplay to promote their songs and get it heard by as many people as they can. Our goal was to give artists the option of how they wanted us to promote their music.

Thanks everyone for their continued support of Mixposure. We can't thank you enough for being here!

Todd

Well guys, it's been grueling work but the soundtrack to Pulse of the Indigo is finally wrapping up. I used more electronic synths and beats than any other soundtrack I've written in the past which gave it a nice industrial flare. Imagine Harry Gregson Williams meets Hanz Zimmer.

I have uploaded a few songs from the complete score on here for everyone to enjoy. The soundtrack will be available on the iTunes store probably in early 2012.

Enjoy!
