Wight Hot Pipes. Yes a band with a difference, a sound that should be heard more. They are very good at what they do, a good show and a very friendly presence. I saw them in Portsmouth and they are good at involving the audience, both in participation, drumming for them by selection from audience, and joining in on songs. The band is mostly based on the Isle of Wight, just a short ferry journey across a small water stretch, from mainland England, easily accessible from Lymington a few miles away from my home. I hope you enjoy them and pass on the good news and music.

Dear Friends,
I have deactivated my FB page.
I am connected to many of you and your music here on Mixposure, as well as on You Tube, Sound Cloud, Fandalism and on Mix Cloud.
Re: my Fandalism page, I am not sure if it will still be there for me, as it is conncted to FB, when FB automatically deletes my pages in a few days sine the deactivation.
I hope, I can continue to stay connected to you and to your music, the music of many of my friends, through this page on Mixposure too.
I truly enjoy visiting your pages here and listening to your music/songs and reading your blogs.
To the respected and admired DJs of the Mixposure Radio, I offer my heartfelt gratitude for always kindly including my songs in their shows. Thank you from my heart.

BUKKA T WHITE AND CHRIS DAIR
I met Bukka White when I was a very young guitarist, he was doing a tour with several other great jazz/blues players - I am pretty sure it was in Leek, Staffordshire in the UK - I wish I'd chronicled all the people I played with during that period of my life!
As a musician it was the really important things that stuck in my mind, for instance, who he was, what he was playing. He played with incredible technique on his right hand - kind of playing a double rythm (slide with left), he was playing a Dobro, I don't remember the song. Afterwards he was a true gent as always and said to me "That's some fine guitar!". Needless to say I never forgot that!
