Believe it or not, I have a new album just arriving at the final mix stage, It'll be quite different to the material on The Disobedience Gene - a much lighter outlook even. With, of course, the continued addiction to relentless, unstoppable rhythms. This is the first mockup of the cover.

I thought we would try this everyone. It has been suggested that we need a better way to do collaborations. What I decided to do was to just create a new tab here called Collab Wanted. In order for this to work, here is what you need to do.
1. Create a new blog with what you are looking for in a collab
2. For the Blog Category, YOU MUST USE "CollabWanted" (this is case sensitive)
Anyone can use this area so please respect it!

hooyoosay is a remarkable band making happy tunes. The only thing that bothers me is that I could not find the country of origin from this awesome project. At first listen, the tracks sound like jingles with electronica meets country kind of style, but then again it doesn’t sound so. It is hard to categorize their music, but they surely make catchy tunes rooted in the beauty of pop music.
My rule of thumb when listening to albums is just to listen. No need to analyze, but just enjoy the music for music’s sake. This seems to be the principle behind the album "Don’t you lie to me". But, like I said, who knows? The title track is catchy with hints of chanson, vintage and vaudeville pop. ”There’s two kinds of people that I just can’t stand, and that’s a lying woman and a sneaking man, so don’t you lie to me.”… The chorus is easy to singalong and the instrumental arrangement is excellent.
Another notable track in this release is the instrumental "Yooplaaa!". Um... again this is hard to categorize, but it is beautiful. I love the mixing of the bass and drums because they really sound full. The overall sound design is slick, clean and glossy. Oh, did I already mention slick? No need to argue. Just grab the album.

I realize that Mix is geared more for other genres of music other than country. I don't understand it....but I realize it. So, since I seem to be the biggest advocate (I said "advocate" 
) of country music on here, I have to ask. Why is it that the "Tag Cloud" box on the main screen has a bunch of genres in it but not country??
Yvonne adds her sensual, sweet, soulful.....vibes,,, to an older track of mine. Is it hot.....YES !

I know there are a handful of users out there using Windows 8 which apparently has issues with Mix. Fender Bender set the browser in IE10 to compatibility mode and everything was working correctly. So if you have Windowws 8 and are seeing some issues with the site, please change your browser to compatibility mode (click the little paper looking icon in the address bar) for now. We should have a fix in a day or two.

Hola gente, hace bastante que no actualizÁbamos con noticias de la banda. Pasó casi un año desde la última vez que nos conectamos con uds. Precisamente fue cuando lanzamos nuestro último single "To Far Horizons". Se preguntarán que hemos estado haciendo durante todo este tiempo. Ensayos semanales, enfocados en una playlist corta quizás, pero que suena ajustada. Mientras tanto, fuimos agregando viejas canciones al repertorio y, empezamos a tocar una que es totalmente nueva. Se llama "A Letter From The Past" y esperamos poder mostrarles pronto de lo que se trata! No todas las noticias son positivas... Debido a cuestiones personales uno de nuestros guitarristas, Fito Gallo dejó de ser un miembro estable de la banda. Sin embargo, puede ser que en el futuro reaparezca como invitado. Le deseamos los mejores éxitos para él, ya que es un gran amigo de la casa. Para finalizar, les prometo fotos y quizás videos de nuestros ensayos.. pronto...
