It has been with great pleasure and a true honor to work with the very talented Brian Brooks on our first collaboration.
His musicianship truly amazes me. "Ashes" was co-written between the two of us. Believe me when I say, he did my words a world of justice by adding some of his own words.

lol just fired up fl studio ,,,normally id create a tune in the pattern editor by sequentially creating patterns until the tune is done ,,beats ,basses,leads,pads,fx,percussion ,vocals ,,etc....then id individually copy each pattern into its equivalent track in the playlist ,,so pattern 2 would be track 2 ...pattern 1 is basically all the patterns together as a whole creatiion ...that would take forever if id written a pretty hefty track ...the viggester for example was massive with all the vocals ,beats bass,synths ,fx,then id copy out vocals multiple times to add different fx for different channels....lol so longwinded ...anyways now i can ,and this only took me about 5 mins to suss out , drop any sample into the playlist ,edit it down with the cut option .automate any part of it or the fx attached to it ,,gross beat is a git to do and needs an extra plugin to control the automation ,although it can be done in the playlist ..i can now drop any 3rd party vst synth in and via the piano roll create basslines ,pads ,arpeggios,sequences ,leads ,fx ..then just draw it into the playlist and atuomate that ...the time saved doing it this way is immense and took me 5 mins to get up and running but 9 years from first getting fl studio to now to realise it .....to say im quick at learning a daw is like saying michaelangelo`s cistine chapel is a collection of etchings lololol

This year, 2014, Gino has been honored with fourteen nominations in the genre categories of Jazz, Easy Listening and World Music at the 3rd Annual Indie Music Channel Awards held in Hollywood, CA. Taking home the awards for Best Male Jazz Artist and Best Jazz Song for Loosing My Way . In 2013, Gino was a ten time nominee of the Indie Music Channel Awards in Jazz category and five time nominee in World category. Taking home Best Jazz Song, Best Jazz Recording and Best Jazz Video for Kalimba Dreaming and Best Male World Artist for Egyptian Drifter. In 2012, Gino became a six time nominee and four time winner of Indie Music Channel Awards, including all genre Producer of the Year.

I put this little song together using loops and samples. What makes it mine is the arrangement and how I use those sounds. For those that do not know me or my music background I have a history of making all kinds of music. I have been classicaly trained, and took lessons. I play guitar, bass, keyboards, alto sax, tenor sax, and a variety of other live instruments and I can read music too. Took classes in Music Theory I & II for math credits. SO why use samples? I say why not? A sample is just a sample sitting alone. If it sounds good use it!!! Some times I make my own samples or I'll go in and create an arrangement using midi for what I am working on. You can take samples and re-sample them changing every single sound property too. Just because a sample was used does not make it any less creative. You have to take the time to arrange, mix, and master. This is no different from a band going into a recording studio and a producer cleaning up the multi track recordings using Pro Tools. Same damn thing. Yes I have been in recording studios too and learned a lot. Producing takes a lot of work and skill. Also, mixing and mastering of sound is a skill too. Some people may not be able to write a song but they are amazing on the mixing board dealing with sound placement. Many of you know I have several projects featuring a wide variety of genres which are often spliced together. The Kåra project features JimsAE doing live guitars, bass, vocals with a variety of music we make including classical influences.
There is LetterstotheDevil, where the only thing programmed is the drums. Scott Moricle did live vocals, lyrics,
some programing & guitar work too. Jordan Chaliel did guest vocals on the project.
I did majority of the guitars, bass, and live synths. The project featured metal, rock, industrial and electronic influences. For that project what you hear on the recording is what you get live, including the programmed drums. No going back to punch in or fix anything. So when we played it had to be perfect. We spent more time doing live practice runs than we did recording. A lot of hard work and time went into it. What we call a labor of love because we love to make all kinds of music!!! Last the current project RëëKëR. On this electronic project anything goes. Blending of Drum & Bass, Dubstep, Industrial, and pretty much any electronic genre or sub genre out there. What my goal is for the project is to mix anything and everything to get something different.I encourage others to take the road less traveled and have fun with music. Music is supposed to be fun It is also supposed to be creative and there are many ways to acheive that regardless of songwriting, structure, no structure,or genre. Music is music a combo of notes, rythmns, melodies, and the mathmatics of it. It is up to us to create the magic.

Robin is a powerful Americana singer songwriter who sings from her soul, writes from her heart and puts it all out there for every performance. When Robin sings everyone listens. Having been involved with many musical projects and various types of original and cover bands over the years, Robin comfortably settled into her own music and in 2010, after working with Emmy Award Winning Producer/Arranger Lisa Ratner (Barbara Streisand) she released Wanna Fly. The CD received rave reviews and the song Shakey Ground was awarded a Lady Lake Indie Music Award in January 2012 for Best New Female Song.
In 2012, Robin performed at The Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles in The Steven Tyler Rock and Roll Show which led to her becoming the lead singer for Manny Charlton, co-founder of the 1970’s Scottish Rock Band, Nazareth. During her time with Charlton she co-wrote It Does Something, recorded the ten song CD Hellacious and headlined in places like Chihuahua, Mexico and Muscle Shoals, AL.
Currently, DeLorenzo is promoting and supporting her May 2014 release of her newest CD, Walkin’ Miles in My Shoes, which has twelve evocative, soulful, and emotional songs. She writes from what she knows and each song gives a glimpse into her life. The album was recorded at Steve Jankowski‘s (Blood, Sweat & Tears) Jankland Recording, Belmar, NJ with a team of world class musicians such as George Naha , Judy Palma, Andy Huenerberg, Sam Bryant and Rob Paparozzi. True to the Americana Genre, there is a wide variety of influence in Robin’s writing and this collection has something for just about everyone; add her very catchy melodies, listeners will walk away humming and wanting more.

yesterday i ventured briskly down into the studio and made for the acoustic perched wrecklessly against the electric as i picked up the guitar i looked to the sky for inspiriation ,well not so much the sky as the ceiling as i was indoors of course and did not have equipped as of yet , glass sun roof ...i then hit my first chord/strum ...couldnt tell you what chord it was as a)my left hand shape resembled my feeble attempt at grasping a jelly mould suspended by a slinky and b) the strum was ,well to put it midly , crap!! ...i could of been playing an e minor,,,i could also of been playing a sus g sharp flat major 5th with a flattened 9th bundled cabbage 8 maids are milking power chord ...i also could of been fitting ....either way it sounded like a cat being dragged through a mincing machine ...i subsequently re-wrecklessly placed the acoustic back against the electric ...shrugged my shoulders ,and sallied forth back up to the pc whence i did commence to sit and ponder my agonising dilema that basically ive more chance of sprouting a pair of gold plated wings from my shoulder blades and learning a new language in one day than becoming the next jimi hendrix ....with a swift click of the mouse i shutdown the pc and got into bed with lois from family guy ...and the rest is ,shall we say, none of your dam business :D
