NOTE; THIS WAS COPIED FROM A CASSETTE OF THE ORIGINAL, TO MINI DISC, AND THEN TO CD, PUT IN THE COMPUTER AND MASTERED, SO IT`S NOT AT THE LEVEL OF MY NORMAL TRACKS.
HOWEVER, THIS WAS RECORDED PART FOR PART IN A SMALL STUDIO ON AN OTARI TAPE MACHINE, WITH NO COMPUTER IN SIGHT.
IT ALSO FEATURES ONE OF MY BEST GUITAR SOLOS.

A collaboration with my new and good friend from Germany, Inge Zimmermann-Probst. Inge is the band Serious Music. Not only did she sing fine background vocals which included harmonies but she also helped me out with some different mixing techniques. Inge is a very talented and multi dimmentioned musician and can be found at http://www.imusicscene.com/serious-music/
Check her out. You won't be sorry.
This is a song about the judgmental, justice and injustice in this fading world of ours.

Well here it is 2008. Alot has happened for me musically and personally over the last year. I'm am glad to say most of it was good, I have GOD and GOD alone to thank.
I never thought I would be in a band again, but as things go, here I am. I have been trying to get involved in "Music Ministry" for the past 3 years and to be honest its really tough. I tried to start an acoustic project but just couldn't find a singer that wanted to do Christian originals and covers. I tried to play with a couple of different churches but I was just depressed by how things were handled.
When out of the blue I was asked to join this band "Consider This", I knew I had found my place. All of the musicians except for the singer, are about 10 years older than me. They are GOOD. I'm a the weak link for sure. They have pushed me musically and I can say I'm happy with my progress. I also started attending a home church that some of the members go to. So now I can also play worship music there as well. I forgot how great it is to play in front of people, even more so now that its for a great cause.
I have met some great musicians / friends over the last year who I hope to get on here:
Christopher Munger http://www.myspace.com/angelsprojectaz
The Mccabes http://www.myspace.com/terrydianemccabe
Gwendolyn LJ http://www.myspace.com/gwendolynlj
Todd Lorenz http://www.myspace.com/toddlorenz
Some of my old band mates and great friends are in a new band called
Mobile Death Camp http://www.myspace.com/mobiledeathcamp
Anyways, I hope to catch back up with some friend on here and participate more often in the forums.

A couple of comments here recently about the blogs I write regarding the songs I write on the site where I put the songs I write. 8)
Well , maybe Im missing the point but I thought the blog was there to put your thoughts down for people to read?. If writing about the songs I post isnt relavant I dunno what is?
None of us here are gonna make a million bucks lads, we all have our reasons for doing what we do. I like to explain or give credit where its due in my blogs, I like to read how other people approach their tunes and what they where thinking.
Live and let live guys , its only a blogg , no more or less interesting than your average one around the place. If they seem superficial or full of **** fine no need to read em, Im happy to do my thing my way and dont wanna pi** on anyone elses parade.
Happy new year blog watchers
:D
I thought I would add some info about myself just for fun. It feels like I'm quite the nobody here, so here it goes:
I'm a metalhead/hippie from sweden, and just turned 17.
Music has never really been more than an interest for me, but I really hope that it'll lead to something bigger.
I am completely self-taught in guitar (both electric and acoustic), bass, ukulele, piano and basically any instrument I get my hands on. Oh, and singing of course, which is my main "instrument".
I'm the singer in a metalband called Nuclear Hangover (remember that name!)
and also do a lot of stuff on my own.
I'm currently studying in the natural science program, and live about 80 miles from home in an apartment with a friend.
That's about it I guess, since no-one'll read this anyway.
This is my effort to write , record and mix a track in one evening ... I failed but managed to finish it in two. My first effort at doing all the vocals myself , first night I couldn't hit the high notes on some of the parts but it managed to come together in the second attempt.
Its kinda funky upbeat thing with a nice chord progression in the chorus , pretty much threw this all together and seemed worth sticking up, its the last song I finished under the Linus Scheme, kinda got fed up waiting on collaborations to com together.
Most likely do a few more in 08 , will probably start with more solo efforts this time round to get more output going.
Thanks for viewing my site. My drum parts are played on an expanded set of Roland Pads and a Hand Sonic, which trigger various modules. I also dub in my Pearl Omar Hakim snare drum and various percussion instruments via AT 3035. I will also use the pads for solos and complex melodic content. Everything else is played on
Yamaha: S80 88 Key Controller,
Dave Smith: Evolver Keyboard
Roland: XV-5050,JP-8000,XP-30,JV-1010,MKS-70,TX7,
Korg: TR-Rack, NS5R,
EMU: ESI-4000 Digital Sampler, PROCUSSION, PROTEUS/2,
ENSONIQ: EPS, MIRAGE, ESQM,
PC running Sonar 6, with tons of VST plug ins.
I hope you enjoy some of the musical adventures I've created, and come back from time to time as I will be exploring diffent genres.
This track was another collaboration with Mark from the Crooks. I originaly meant this track to be more acoustically orientated but ended up whipping out my telecastet and it turned into an 80's type rock tune. I wanted to write something with Tom Petty in mind , I believe this is where Marks lyrics were inspried from.
The track was written over a few weeks and probably reprsents the most complete song I ever did for "the linus scheme" after empty pockets , that said we never completed layering the vocals which is a pity caus Mark is an excellent vocalist. For what it is I think I got value for Marks limited time he could contribute (Busy man as he is an all )
Mark plays the slide on this using his Sambora strat , an endless source of amusement to me hehe anyway I think its adds so much to the track.
