The tale of Casino Gitano began on the 13th of June 2002.That day a charity concert for the street artist Logo Lard was staged in Berlin¹s Tacheles. Logo had been suffering from Guillain-Barre Syndrome, which at some point had forced him into a coma.

The brothers Sancho and Pancho grabbed their acoustic guitars and summoned singer Ivana, the tap-dancing Rodriguez sisters and Eddy Egal the Cajonist onto the stage. Together they proceeded to overwhelm the audience with their Gipsy-Jazz music, and in particular with their song Logololailo, written in honour of their ill friend.
I was thinking about this last night and wanted to see if anyone was interested in doing this for us? I want to create a page of Testimonials about Mixposure. Kind of the, "Here is what people are saying about us" page. It does not have to be long but I will leave that up to you.

What this is for is we created a new signup page and I would like to just put a few small comments around the page.

Please Send me an email with your comments!

Thanks, Dazed
Please come and have a listen to Stepping Bravely. Dusty has produced a simply beautiful song, and captured the gentleness of the lyrics with his rich vocals perfectly. Thank you, Melsi
Waiting for Helen is a Blues/Rock band. Although not a new band, as they have been together for 12 years. The band is comprised of four best friends, together for 27 years, with the first 15 years of their friendship spent with each member in a prior commitment with other powerful Blues/Rock bands in the New York-New Jersey area. Still, their love of playing music and their close friendship eventually lead them to a time, some twelve years ago, when each finally had the chance to get together as a true band for the first time. The results lay waiting for you to discover. The tight rhythm section these four guys, Jerry, Joe, Pete and Tony lay down is amazingly tight and driving. Lead singer Helen and their special guest vocalists lend their honed talents to bring the lyrics to life. Two improvisational guitarists crank out some stinging guitar solos. They are not kids, nor do they sound or play like kids. One listen and you'll be a fan of Waiting for Helen for life. WAITING FOR HELEN IS: Jerry DeCarlo: Drums & Percussions Helen Harak: Vocals Tony Mazza: Guitar,Vocals & percussion Pete Salomone: Guitar & Vocals Joe Van Winkle: Bass, Bass Pedals,Keyboard, Vocals, & Percussions A SPECIAL THANKS TO OUR GUEST VOCALISTS: Marlene Centanni Milena DeCarlo Dave Kraemer Bobby Lassig Sharon Lee Claire Reily
I am sure many of you feel the same, everyone hates Mondays! However I will say that the previous week on Mixposure was pretty awesome! There were more than a handful of site changes with the addition of Interviews by Jim as well as Mike putting all of the Mixposure Center Stage Presentations together in one location. These are fantastic opportunities to get to know the Mixposure members better as well as provide some additional exposure of their music.

The Halloween Songs are popping up all over. We have over 30 on the main page now. As a Reminder, Kephas will be doing a Halloween Show on Mix Radio on the 31st so please tune in. He will be playing all of the Halloween tunes as well as some unexpected surprises.

Mixposure as a whole is showing some amazing growth so thank you everyone for helping to spread the word! In the month of October we doubled and even tripled some statistics like Number of Visits and Unique Visitors to the site. The stats were great before so this is just putting a huge smile on my face.

Lastly, we have also had a lot of people upgrade to Premium Subscriptions. I want to thank each of you for supporting this site and making Mixposure your home! Your contributions keep this site alive so for that I thank you.

Dazed

I posted something in the forum I want to try for a bit and see what you guys think. It can be found Here .
Here is the context of the post - I was thinking about this today and thought I would try this. There are many fantastic musicians on Mixposure but I always find a few songs that really stand out to me that end up on my iPod. So what I want to do is this. Please post your favorite song on the site right now as well as a link to the artist and the play song link. The play link can be found under the Song Info button by the song. Use the BBCode!
Also it CAN'T BE YOUR OWN MUSIC!!
Please do not post songs and links in this blog post!! This is for the forum only!!
Thanks,
Dazed
