By Admin, 2009-11-14

<p><span style="font-size: medium;">I just wanted to let everyone know that we just added the ability to embed the Mixposure Song Player in the Forum. Not sure why I did not do this before but was thinking about it today. It is really simple and instructions can be found <a href="http://www.mixposure.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&amp;t=14039">here</a>.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">The forum is a great way to get additional feedback on your song or even ask for collab help!</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">Please let us know if you have any questions!</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">Dazed<br /></span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;"><br /></span></p>

**GEAR TALK** Gotham Steel

By Admin, 2009-11-13

<p><span style="color: #6b6b6b; line-height: 18px; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span style="font-size: medium;">These days I am mostly using my Marshall DSL 401 for guitar recording. Usually direct into my mixer from the line out on the back, but I mic it when possible.</span></span></p><p><span style="color: #6b6b6b; line-height: 18px; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-size: 13px;">img</span></span></span></p><p><span" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/nn113/zefuldar/IMG_0033.jpg[/IMG]</span></span></span></p><p><span style="color: #6b6b6b; line-height: 18px; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span style="font-size: medium;">For Gotham Steel I primarily use my X for the Rhythm parts (and sometimes for Lead too). It has Dimarzio D-Activators in it.</span></span></p><p><span style="color: #6b6b6b; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18px; white-space: pre-wrap;">img </span></p><p><span style="color: #6b6b6b; line-height: 18px; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span style="font-size: medium;">Lately I have been using Pearl for lead, even on Gotham Steel tracks -- I just play at C (8th fret, 20th fret)</span></span></p><p><span style="color: #6b6b6b; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18px; white-space: pre-wrap;">img img</span></p><p><span" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/nn113/zefuldar/dean-v-002.jpg[/IMG]</span></p><p><span style="color: #6b6b6b; line-height: 18px; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span style="font-size: medium;">It's my primary whammy guitar until I get the tremsetter installed in the X. Then I usually Mega-Wide Chorus the rhythm guitar part, and add some big-room reverb to the lead -- but I vary things a bit.</span></span></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><span style="color: #6b6b6b; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18px; white-space: pre-wrap;"> Z </span></p>
