New Bilbozo Song - The Mexican Machine

I wrote this one about the Drug War in Mexico. "Maquina Mejicano" (Mexican Machine) is about the tight grip many cartels have on the drug trade, and the tense, uneasy effect it has had on the people of Mexico. The great Narco War has taken thousands of lives over the past 8 years. Police officers and innocent people who got in the crossfire of their fury have been taken from their families. Lareau Releases New Single - Don't Let Me Go

New York, NY—Lareau, the band that gained international attention due to its honest cool-mountain-stream anesthetic’s combining an Eagles/Byrds roots-reverence with a Fray/Maroon 5 modernity, is readying for their latest radio release “Don’t Let Me Go” impacting radio on September 14th 2009. Lareau completed the recording with producers Darrin Payne and Anthony Brown at AllSound Group & Graphite Studios in Warren, PA. Lareau’s first single Changes (Warrior/UMGD) charted on three major Adult Contemporary charts:  FMQB (#10), Billboard (#25) and R&R (#25). Their second single Change My World also charted Billboard (#28) R&R (#28). Chuck Taylor, reviewing for Billboard, wrote of the albums “organic play-off of electric and acoustic guitars, bongos and buoyant sing-along hooks,” referring to lead singer Larry Lareau as a frontman “definitely stamped with nostalgic influences.” The review ended with the fact that “it’s a pleasure to see hard-working talent rise to the surface.” Lareau—founding member and lead vocalist Larry Lareau, drummer/multi-instrumentalist Darrin Payne, guitarist Pete Gool, bassist Roger Christopherson and keyboardist Anthony Brown—is the five-piece band from Western New York and Pennsylvania whose music is a refreshing and uplifting acoustic/electric trip that has had record buyers swooning to its intricate musical interplay.

2009-09-12 Saturday Night Rocks Rebroadcast with Sharma Kay (RIP) and David C Deal

We had a very, very special night during Saturday Night Rocks on Sep 12, 2009. We played a tribute to our dear friend <a href="http://sharmakay.com/">Sharma Kay</a>, who tragically passed away in a car accident along with her father. Many of her friends showed up in the chat last night to pay respect and be part of the tribute, celebrating Sharma's Life. Thank you to all who came in and enjoyed Sharma's music and the songs from other artists, dedicating their music to our friend Sharma. A special thanks to Gina Kresiak (our WildHoneyPie) for summing up the tribute with a nice speech of here own. Thanks, Gina! Love you for doing that!
