I am a firm believer that music, especially my ability to play, is a gift from God. And I want to give him the glory for it all. For without him, I can do nothing.
This is a very cool site and extremely professional looking. Kudos to the creators!!!
I use Sonoma Wire Works Riffworks software to do almost all of my recording. If you have never taken a look at this then I highly recommend it.
Hey! I can do a Blog Entry!!
Okay, with the release of The Collective DVD with a 2nd disc attached I've gone through some of the files that were going to be on that CD Project I was working on awhile ago and collected them into what my CD would be if I were to release it. It will be on the 2nd disc of The Collective release, but it is also available through a link that is posted in Member's CD Releases. Check it out if you're interested.
I've got quite a few music ideas that I want to get to. Time just seems to slip through my hands like water. I'll keep on it and hopefully have some more new music soon. For those of you that like teasers - I'm working on a collab with Wild Honey Pie, and I've been neglecting one with FP that is just about done. Also, I'm involved in that Battle of the Bands that we've got brewing here. RainbowAvenue, Imellow64, and I are the band called Matanooska Thunder. So far things are going really well, so I'm excited about what our final output will sound like!
That's it for now. Listen to the tunes, and LEAVE FEEDBACK!!!
Hi All!
Just a quick message to let everyone know about some changes. For the most part this is going to become a 100% free site. As we have always said, this site is not about a profit. It is about having some fun and making some music. If you learn a few things along the way, even better.
All Members can now change their themes and upload more songs and have downloads. As long as the bandwidth holds up, we will let it fly!
Please Note the Artist URL's have been changed. They now make more sense! Your links will now always appear as:
http://www.guitaristworks.com/bandname/
http://www.guitaristworks.com/bandname/audio
http://www.guitaristworks.com/bandname/radio
http://www.guitaristworks.com/bandname/fans
http://www.guitaristworks.com/bandname/charts
This will allow Google to index your page and also provides easier links.
I will let everyone know about the other changes shortly.
Thanks,
Dazed
Hi all!
Just wanted to let you know since we upgraded the site we have made a few changes. We have increased the maximum bit rate per song for non-members to 160k. For members we have bumped that up to 224k.
We have several other changes coming up in the not so distant future so this is a good time to upgrade and become a member!
Thanks for supporting this site,
Dazed
Mr Nick Nasty is modifying the Cancer Research DVD to include two DVD's. This will require the need for some additional material. If you would like to be a part of this project and donate a song or a video, please read the thread and let Nick know!

Hey Guys!
Just wanted to let everyone know that we made a change to the Artist Pages today. You can now add your YouTube Videos to your Artist Page. This is enabled for All GuitaristWorks Members and all themes. You will now see a Video Menu link on your Artist Page. Here is an example thanks to FastRedPonyCar . Sorry FastRedPonyCar but it was a quick way to test this out!
FastRedPonyCar
When you log into your Artist Page and click on the Control Panel link, you will now see a Videos section in the menu on the left.
1. Click the Create Video link.
2. Fill in the Video Name, Video Credits, New Album or Existing Album and Video Genre.
3. When you get to Video Caption, cut and paste the embedded video link from your YouTube site.
4. Then below that code, add any comments you would like about the video.
5. If you scroll down, you can Upload a Video Image or choose from an existing image you have already uploaded.
Do not worry about the Upload Video File, Import Video File or
Video Viewer Access since these are effectively disabled. You must use YouTube to host the video.
Please let me know if there any issues!
We have also completed the upgrade of the server. Hopefully we have corrected any and all issues!
Again thanks to everyone for supporting this site.
