A Few Things

By Admin, 2007-06-18

Guys we just processed a few minor fixes to the site. The biggest being a bug in the Arrange Song Order where tracks were being rebuilt from oldest to newest. They should now be appearing in the order you want them to be in.

Please let us know if you see anything odd!

The Blues Same Song Title Madness is coming up fast. I hope everyone is close to being done!

Day one

By Gabriel, 2007-06-16

Hey there everyone, 1st day on this site and so far it looks like a fun place to be and share music. I took a 20 year hiatus from music and recently got drawn back into the scene again. I consider myself more of a a composer /musician than a specialist on any one instrument. I'm not really into technical wizardry but melodic passages and memorable hooks. Sometimes I'll just play rhythm guitar and others I'll do the lead thing... ;) I also love my synthesizers and you'll find their soundscapes in most of my material lurking here and there.

Don't forget to say hi:)

Play well!.
Peace Gabriel

6/11/07

By Grumpy Old Player, 2007-06-10

Okay... Not much has changed. The Battle of the Bands tune is almost done. That came together pretty easily, and we are flirting with the idea of doing a few more songs. Already have some musical ideas recorded to work with, and some other ideas that haven't been recorded yet, but offer exciting prospects (for me anyways).

The song with WHP is being re-tooled. It will be good, but I don't think I gave her enough to work with as we rolled it out. Working at a fevered pitch to get this done for our adoring masses who want more!

Haven't heard from FP. I think he hates me... Just kidding! That, as you would expect, is going to be a little different than what is typically posted here. Both he & I like to do things a little "different" and this tune gave us both a chance to explore.

I have a bunch of ideas that I want to get to still. I have a few collabs in the works. And most of my gear is packed up... Hey! I think I just figured out why I'm having productivity issues!.. :D

Thanks for stopping by. NOW, GO LISTEN TO MY MUSIC AND LEAVE FEEDBACK!!!

Introducing DCSchneider

By DCSchneider, 2007-06-06

Born in South America of USA parents, Davey cut his teeth on an eclectic mixture of Latin, 50s Rock&Roll, and the ubiquitous Pop sounds of his parents' generation. Starting in the folk era in the early 60s, Davey has performed bluegrass, Delta blues finger-picking, blues, country rock, and swing in club and concert settings. Heavily influenced by the wide variety of music of the late 60s, from Jimi Hendrix down to Dylan, his style of playing may include everything from straight-on blues to right-on country.

We have not done a Blues Site Song yet and I think this one will be a blast to do. June 23rd will be the due date so you have some time to finish it. As usual, please hold all submissions until the specified date. We will open up the forum on that date so everyone can post a link to their song on their artist page. Please make this a new song and do not pull one from the archives!!

There are no set requirements for this submission. You can add vocals if you like, make it acoustic or SRV style. It is entirely up to you. Just have some fun with it. Remember to use the resources on this site if you need help with your track. We will also try and do something special for the best track!

Please post any questions you have HERE.

Who is The London Project anyways?

By Guitar4Life, 2007-05-29

The London Project is the latest collaboration between Lonnie Jeeves and Don Carr. We are from Vancouver Canada. Don and I have been together for about 5 years now. Over these few years we have ventured off into many directions but one thing has remained common...guitars!! We are currently building our library so that we can be well presented to the film and tv industry. Much of what you hear on this site has been created with that in mind. Wishing you all the best, Lonnie Don and Chelsea The London Project

Living Like A Stray

By Seraph Stray, 2007-05-29

There are cases or circumstances in life where description with simple words fall short of offering a proper explanation...

This is one of those cases...

I am merely fulfilling a purpose I was placed on earth for...

I've read that noise is the abscence of silence, music is the premeditated arrangement of noise...

Seraph Stray only intends to add to the equation of sound and broaden other's horizon's along the way with overlooked truths...

I am only one person...
