Okay I got the shot/needle in my hand and it did not work. I have been set for surgery on Feb 16. This is the only way to fix trigger finger. I dont like the thought of someone cutting my hand open but it has to be done. So currently I have been on the ball with the whole work situation and I will continue to be relentless on the matter. Right now I am focused on getting my hand fixed so I can do normal tasks pain free.

Kerrin

Early Monday morning I lost a good friend. Around 11:30 Sunday night, wildcherry woke me up and said our German Shepherd was outside and she was hearing animal noises. She thought he got hurt or caught some animal. When we finally got him inside, he was pacing, howling and obviously in pain. He was trying to get sick but it was just foam. After researching it quickly, we determined he probably had Bloat and I took him to a vet hospital up the street.

They came back immediately and confirmed what we had suspected. At that point, the only option was an extremely expensive surgery with no guarantee he would survive. I ended up having to put him down. He was just 5 years old and this was way too early to lose a dog. I know many of you have been in this situation before and it just sucks. Luckily our daughters seem to understand that he was sick and have not been asking where he was. When we had him in a kennel for a week during the move, they asked every day where he was.

He was a good friend and with a gentle soul and will be missed.

Dazed

I just heard the news about the early passing of one of the biggest guitar influences who ever graced six strings, legend Gary Moore who passed on Feb 6 . The man who played with such soul and heart. I am so crushed to hear he left us so early. Gary was one of the biggest reasons I picked up guitar. Most importantly he showed everyone that a guitar was an extension of your soul, and pulled every note out of his heart. We Still Got the Blues for You.... more than ever now that you are gone. Goodbye Gary and Godspeed. Until we all meet again

<a href="Gary Moore - The Boys Are Back In Town (One Night In Dublin) style="color: #ffcc00; font-size: medium;">I could never do Gary justice in any way, but here is my humble and modest tribute to what he all gave us. One of the first songs I tryed to record in 2004. I really do not care who wins but I will say Green Bay 31-17.

It's tough sometimes to remember four or so hours of music and lyrics. It's even harder when you just can't stop laughing. During one particular sound check, some old guy that had obviously been drinking for the better part of that day, was sitting up relatively close to the stage and was so drunk that you couldn't understand him. During sound check, when we would stop, he would go "uuuuhhh aaaaaaaaaa Xjkjkasdg v"....or something between a loud moan, yell, and words of some sort. But he would do it every time we would play or even talk through the PA. I started laughing at him because it was just too damn funny.

So, we finished sound check, and waited until it was time to play. We did the first song and you could here a muffled "uuuuhhh aaaaaaaaaa Xjkjkasdg v". We played the second song and....."uuuuhhh aaaaaaaaaa Xjkjkasdg v", but now he was doing it while we were playing too. So I started laughing again....while trying to sing and play. And the more he "uuuuhhh aaaaaaaaaa Xjkjkasdg v", the harder I laughed. I somehow managed to make it through the first set. He did it a little during the second set but I guess he passed out or they made him leave or something because I didn't here it anymore. But it was REALLY funny but REALLY difficult to get through songs while that was going on.

That pisses me the **** off!!

HI..... i made a new version of this but looking back i just must impress you the guitar work on the first one instead.....it's fast (USING HAMMER ONS AND PULL OFFS) and very seldom if ever just sounds like it's fast... wich i think is a real feather in my cap......got to listen to "Paul Gilbert" he's very very fast and is good at keeping your interest....you know you don't have to buy an IPOD or the like .....you can get a cheap $20 mp3 player with 2 to 4 gigabytes......and a dollar for a song off Amazon is a good deal......they've got everybody on amazon.....and you can buy CD,s used for $4 or so...

First of all, I would like to thank everyone for all the kind words of encouragement regarding my new album, And Then There Were Songs. My cd release party is finally here and I'm really looking forward to rocking the house with all my friends and family. If you live in the Atlanta area, I'd for you to come out and have some fun with us. I'll be joined by Red Velvet Mojo, who'll take the stage at 8:30 p.m., then the Brian Futch band takes over at 9:45 p.m., followed by Levi Lowrey, who'll be performing with his Community House Band at 11:00 p.m. If you don't know Levi, he just came off tour with Zac Brown and is signed to Zac's label, Southern Ground Records. He's a tremendous songwriter/performer and he'll be playing with me on one of my acoustic songs in the middle of my set. In addition to all the music and fun, we'll be filming my album set in HD for a future DVD, so come on out and be a part of this special night!
