Pushing my boundaries

Pushing my boundaries

I've just created a new song with a different feel and using more production overall. I haven't a great deal of experience using drum tracks and stuff but Garageband makes things reasonably straightforward so I'm not too disappointed with the outcome at all. I managed to get this all done in a day too!

Really keen to hear what you think...

Neil

More songs to come

As the comments received have been very positive I thought I'd add a few more songs on to the profile. I keep updating my RSS feed with bits and bobs too if there's any interest out there for that stuff.

Cheers

Neil

Back From the Dead!

By Adric, 2010-07-08

Hey guys! Man, I've been slammed with work for a while now! Never hav time to update things on here. Some updates now though:

I just finished up another film score for a feature titled "Shadow Puppets". Its about an underground drug and terror organization made up entirely of cute puppets Sesame Street style. The director wanted Sasame Street meets Alfred Hitchcock for the score which wasn't easy in the slightest to pull off. It was definitely a learning experience thats for sure!

My next big project will most likely be a feature length film titled "Pulse of the Indigo" which I am very excited about. I have become an exec producor on that movie (I'm helping fund the thing) and it's looking very promising so far. We are wrapping up casting at the moment and are about to dive into location scouting. We've already had a few people read the script and a guy in New York City already wants to offer up distribution rights upon completion. The reason I'm excited about this though is this might be my first project where my work will be performed by an actual 30 piece orchestra (with yours truly conducting). It all depends on the money. Let me tell you though that if that does indeed happen, it will truly be a dream come true for me. Wish us luck!

I've also been approached for a few side things here and there that are kind of in limbo right now (like a series of webisodes that will be a musical) so who knows with that stuff.

Anyway it's getting late and tomorrow is a new day. I hope everyone like the new piece I uploaded tonight and hopefully it won't be another 4 months before I can get back on here!

Regards,

Adric
