<p>This Saturday (March 26TH) will begin the birth of the upcoming 3 Quarters Dead album.<br /> We will be putting some last minute touches on Friday night and head for "The Basement" recording studio with Jamie King Saturday morning. Kenny should be tracking by 2:30pm. We will be recording the whole process on video,so we will have a "making of"available on you tube when we are finished. After recording we have the album packaging and a photo shoot in April. We are hoping to for a June release. Maybe sooner,maybe later. We feel we have some really strong material this go around. Of course we are sticking to the 3QD sound. It has a little bit of everything from melodic hard rock to balls out thrash.But no song is the same all the way through. It's pretty badass i must say. Anyway, we'll keep you up to date through out the whole process,so keep an eye out! <br /> <br /> We'll see everyone VERY soon,<br /> 3 Quarters Dead</p>

<p>id love to make a 5 or 6 track album, but dont have a band...</p><p>who has done a solo album with out a band? was it hard?</p><p>Id like to make it like the music i have on here, my own ofcourse</p><p>but rather than just all me, id love to do it as a band thing</p><p>i dunno, maybe im just dreaming , as usual</p><p>i dont care if it sells or not, its just something ive always wanted to do...</p><p>just for me , and maybe to be able to leave something behind, so people can</p><p>remember me for something..</p>
<p><span style="font-size: medium;">This is a topic we have discussed before in the past and I wanted to get some input from the members here. Alexis sent me a message asking about this and I thought we might as well discuss it. We had this conversation a few years ago but at the time, we were not in a position to proceed. </span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">As most of you know, we currently have a free FTP setup for members to be able to upload zipped files of individual song tracks to make collaborations easier. Unfortunately everyone has access to it. What we are considering doing is for Mixposure Subscribers is allowing them to have their own ftp server. This way it is more secure and you have better control of it.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">I know many use other sites that are free or cost money. I also know these sites spam the hell out of everyone they get an email address from. This would be part of the subscription and would just be an added benefit. </span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">Would you guys use this?</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: medium;">OK so lately I am having one of those, "What gear would I like to buy" moments. In reality I need absolutely nothing. Since when did that ever matter though? I have been considering a PRS Guitar over the last few months. I would love an acoustic but PRS acoustics are about the price of a decent down payment on a car. Lately I am just not feeling very musical so I was wondering if something new would kickstart the drive and motivation back in me. </span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">So anyone else in the market for new gear?</span></p><p> </p>
