February Same Song Title Madness

By Admin, 2011-01-29

Hey Everyone!

Kind of late to do a forum post for song titles and vote on a winner so here is the deal. With Valentine's Day coming up in February we decided we will be using the title of "Screaming Hearts" for this Same Song Title Madness. I think this will be the 11th one we have done?

If you have not participated in one before, here is how it works. The title is "Screaming Hearts" so the idea is everyone creates a song using that title. Vocals are not mandatory but obviously help sell the song a little better. The cool thing about this is you usually get 15-20 different songs around the same Title. It is interesting to see which direction everyone goes with the tune.

This is also a great way to Collaborate with fellow musicians here on Mixposurel!!

Let's put a due date on this song for Saturday Feb 26th. Remember you can use any song genre you like just have some fun with it! When you create the song use a song genre of "SSTM Feb 2011."

Dazed

Get Some - Bilbozo Featuring Ciera Corr

Get Some - Bilbozo Featuring Ciera Corr

A hybrid of cross-over of hip-hop, hard rock & pop. Featuring the vocals of Ciera Corr. This is kind of a fresh approach for me as I usually don't hit some of these genres, but couldn't resist the progression, beat and feel of this one which is seductive, dark and heavy which would go well with guitar. Some real fun chunky axe lines, grinding chords, dual guitar lines and a little shred for interest. Cheers and comments always welcome. Thanks - Bill ( Bilbozo )

http://www2.mixposure.com/Bilbozo/song_focus_22487.php

CGDC&F Instrumental - Knock Him Off

Hi all you Mixposure-ites! I was looking through some of the hidden songs that have been hiddenand archived on the shelves at the Carciello, Grant, DrC, Farrell, and Friends page. These songs have been posted before but they are getting a little dusty so I've taken the liberty (the others don't know I did this he he) to hit one with a feather duster and pull it out of the hidden archives and let it bask in the sun for a while. The song is Rob Grant's great vision of creating an instrumental that allows each member to strut our stuff a little on a wild fusion free for all jam. The song is pre Rayon Vert and it's called Knock Him Off. Here's the link if you want to check it out:.

ttp://www2.mixposure.com/Carciello_Grant_Doctor_C_Farrell_and_Friends/music.php

Rob Grant - Bass

DrC - keyboards

Gary Carciello - Guitar

Farrell Jackson - Harmonica

( I hope the fellas don't fire me for this lol!)

Farrell Jackson

Hi,

I'm Glen Mofford and I joined Mixposure yesterday.

I've added two songs from my debut CD, Retrospect, which has fifteen original songs that I wrote between 1970 and 2010.
