For a while I have wanted to put out an album of material that would represent a side of me that has not totally been revealed via all of the other projects I have done.

Obviously its me so some things compositionally will be familar but for the most part it would have its own vibe.

The other desire I had was to write and play all of the instruments myself. I have been wanting to express myself on different instruments for some time and this project has allowed that freedom which at first was scary but now has proven to be very liberating!

I am one song away from completing the album which is a month ahead of my self imposed schedule! And I thought I would turn you folks onto some of the music for some initial (good or bad) reactions. Check it out! http://www.trinityrecords.net/BLUESYNDROME

I will be adding some of the tunes here once I get the project pressed. Thanks in advance for your time and consideration!

All the best,

Introduction:

Daytona Red : well thats me and my good friend Peter Considine from Aus. He's the guy doing the guitar and I bet he's known to many artists here by variuos names. They all mean the same though Peter is one talented guy who conjures things on his acooustic guitar that others can only imagine.

Myself and Pete did a project a few years ago called Daytona Red...he helped me express things in music which I hadn't been able to do before. This is an example.

This is a remastered version of My Uncertain Feelings: couple of points worth a mention The guitar solo was played by me on a Korg synth apologies to all you guitarheads out there ! and some of the synth sounds you hear were generated by Petes acoustic guitar .

I dedicate this to Pete " Uncertain Feelings " they really do ease Pete- thankyou for this track and all the others I still remeber the shock when we did Sex Cells !

Sly

Just wanted to thank everyone for their feedback on the Prison of Love song I did with Carol Douglas' lyrics.

Most appreciative!!

Our collab song title...This Far

Rob Grant, Gary Carciello and I collabed...It was real fun until Robs computer died....BUT where there`s a will there`s a way, or so they say and we did it anyway...eheheee...We had to use what we had to hand and mixed the ingredients carefully...:-) We like it, hope you like it too.

Peace n love Mags xx

In our never ending quest to make iMS the best music site out there we have asked Nigel Potter to join the Moderator Team! I think most everyone knows Nigel and what kind of person he is. This is a wonderful addition to the iMS Team and I could not be happier that he has joined the team.

Thanks,
