The creation of computers and the Internet, has been wild, from the start. Many of us......in "the day" would have died for an opportunity, to write and record songs from their own homes. Instead, we paid a fortune to a recording studio and walked out with a cassette and the feeling of.....what the hell did I just do?!?!?! Ok, so I heard this guy....Gary Carciello, at Soundclick. I immediately reviewed his song and awaited a reply. It never came. I thought....hmmmm???...Oh well, I guess it didn't mean much to him. I saw him again at MIXPOSURE, listened to more music and reviewed again.....THIS TIME, I got a response of Thanks, that I couldn't believe. He was VERY Thankful and humble. I contacted him again...and again...and...BAM!! We became "Net buds". We talked of doing music together, but hadn't started yet. Ok, then I posted a version of "LEGACY", at MIX, requesting a collab with a keyboard player. I got a response over night, from this guy, Doctor C. I went to his page, listened...and was blown away. I couldn't believe this guy wanted to work with me. Now, I had two unbelievable musicians to play with. We took on "Legacy" and had lots of fun with it. I kept sending these guys songs to do and they kept doing them....and that's how we got together. I'm trying to get these guys to sign exclusive contracts, but they won't do it.....hahahahahahahaha! I LOVE 'EM BOTH!!! But Hey!! We needed a vocalist..........and thus we asked our Friends to join in. I loved Nigel Potter, like a net bro, so he was asked....right away....he replied and accepted. We then went to Richard Bethell of Soundclick (Admiral Bob) to join us.....then my FAVORITE Lady vocalist Inge - Serious Music. We have others in progress and I hope many more to come. LIFE IS GOOD at IMS!!! I want to THANK Gary and Doctor C...SO MUCH for their participation in this project. Their input is UNBELIEVABLE, without it, the songs would have never been the same. They take a basic song idea I send and mold it into a piece of music, that blows me away. Their CREATIVITY is what makes OUR songs. Rob

Anyone up for a Same Song Title Madness for February?
Maybe I should post what it is for the new members lol.
OK here is how it works. We start a forum thread where everyone can submit viable song titles. After a week or so we compile some of the titles and vote for a winner. Once that is decided, we try and take 4-6 weeks to allow everyone to create a new song with that as the title.
The song can be any genre you like. Vocals are not mandatory but obviously help sell the same song title theme a little better lol. We then set a due date and everyone uploads their song on the same day. What we end up with is a bunch of songs based on the same theme in different styles. It is interesting how everyone interprets the song title.

Force of One is a studio project power trio consisting of me, myself and I with and occasional friend that stops in to help out. Mostly on singing, as I'm not the best singer. Thanks for stopping in and saying hello and giving a listen.

I can rattle off 50 top selling bands and still find people on here who do not like them. If you listen to an artist on here that you can't stand and then decide to let that artist know how bad they are, that is entirely up to you. Just remember, they will be reviewing your music as well. Most likely after reading your review. Sometime it is better to just walk away. If you have received a bad review, you can keep it or delete it. If you are getting Private Messages from someone that you do not like, just block the user. Please do not ask the iMS staff to choose sides. We are here for the music, not to play mediator between fighting members.<br /></font> </p><p><font size="3">If you want us to ban an artist or a member, we try and stay away from that.
