Well I hope everyone in the USA had a great Thanksgiving! Speaking for myself I am still stuffed! Had a great time with the family.

I guess we decided to do a HOLIDAY SONG SUBMISSION again this year. We have done this for the last three years and have had some great songs. So please visit the forum for more information.

The Mods and site Admins had a conversation about song ratings and it was decided that we will keep these for awhile. What I will probably end up doing is putting in an option for Artists to decide if they want Song Ratings or not.

Thanks for supporting iMusicScene!

Dazed & WildCherry

Peter has re-mixed my vocals/lyrics into his "Last Man Standing" and it's now on his Artist's page rather than mine -

New on mine - "Kyrie" -

Yes it's in Latin, and I'm playing everything you hear but one guitar riff.

Guitar and bass is my Variax 700 Acoustic - and the electric is also the 700 - but thru a Digitech RP-80. Percussion is me on my Roland HPD-15

Success in the music industry hinges on building constructive and positive relationships. And to do that, you gotta be cool. And there's nothing cooler than someone who can make fun of him or herself. In fact, if being made fun of was a sign of being cool, Sonicbids Artist Relations Manager, Benjy Kantor, would be the coolest guy in the world!!!

Having a sense of humor doesn't mean you have to be cracking people up all the time. It simply means that you're able to look at life's little foibles with grace and aplomb, and sometimes that means not being afraid to be embarrassed. Heck, you're a musician -- you know what it means to put yourself up on stage for everyone else to stare at!

There's no reason you shouldn't take that same fearless attitude with putting yourself in front of promoters and other artists, and at the same time realize you can't be everything to everybody, and some people might just laugh. And when they do, laugh right with 'em, because if nothing else it will let them know you're on-the-level, down-to-earth, and that you know there are funny things about the world we live in. More likely than not, you'll gain a fan, and it's a great start to building those relationships that are going to help you meet your music (or career) goals.

A nearly finished collection of tunes. Lyrics and vocals are yet to be done. Some are already underway. Final arrangements and mixes will be left until a solid idea of how the vocal should sound forms in my head. That may take a while.

If anyone out there wants contribute a lyric or a vocal, please get in touch. I'm currently trying to do this through the Digital Musician site (it is a(humbly)paid job). Unfortunately it is a slow process, but its got to be worth waiting for.

Thanks for reading this.

Thank you all for a most warm and wonderful welcome here!
I hope no one is offended by the comparison, but this place is feeling like the heyday of Mixposure when you'd post a song, go to play it to make sure it uploaded properly, and you'd already have a review. By the time you'd returned the favor by reviewing your reviewer, you'd have two more reviews queued up, and on it would go long into the night. A lot of people are responsible for that burst of energy here. Some of the Mixposure newcomers are hitting the 100-review mark already. Among the veterans, Dazed and Focus Player are amazing, but reapersg has gone far beyond amazing. I've put up over 25 songs in the past two weeks, and reapersg has reviewed over 20 of them! That would be an astonishing feat with anyone's songs, but it truly pushes the envelope when you consider that it's my alleged vocals this man is facing time and time again without flinching (well, I'm guessing about the not flinching part).
THANK YOU, EVERYONE! I will return every review - honest!

Hello guys

Check my song page - I uploaded a new track, still a project, and would like to hear your thoughts about it
Thanks a lot!

Cya around.

Hello strangers.. Thanks for visiting my page. I'm just a younger gentleman who lives and works in Atlanta, GA. I used to be on a site called Mixposure which was sadly overtaken by an angry mob of intergalactic technology bloggers from the future. But I am happy to be a new part of iMusicScene and am proud to be affiliated with such great music made by such lovely people. If you leave a review i'll try and return the favor.

-Will

Well since there appears to be some concern over Artist Rankings I just disabled them. I never put much stock in charts or reviews from any site because they can all be manipulated. I learn more about the artists from listening to them and reading other members comments. Maybe that is just me.

Anyway hopefully this will make some members happy!

Dazed

Just a quick note to say Floridamusic, Warren Peese and I just finished up a new track called Paradise. Please stop by and check it out.
