STAY AWAY

I’m so tired of running, running from nothing. Looking over my shoulder.

Endless and broken.

Always open up without reaping the fruit.

It’s like I get the glass eye, and I’m tired of no proof.

I’m cold.

Everything is in my way. All this competition sees me making mistakes.

Love turned into hate. Now it’s time that I go.

Until the cat comes back some day, and I know. I know.

I know what you want. Your kind wants to play everyday.

Can’t you just stay away.

I thought I walked away, but the running never stops.

Too much time in flight, just can’t run between the drops.

I used to use the rain as a mask from the shelter.

But it’s coming back to haunt me from the land of never-never.

See, the wheels keep turning, back on the run.

My ears feel this burning ‘cause my spirits have sung.

Never quite explain it, just a feeling I felt.

You see the cat came back with the cards I’ve been dealt.

In the beginning it was guilt, deep within my heart.

It was false accusations, and lost control of patience. A loss of reality, left me so confused.

Like ever other human with the blues.

A small step to stop when you leap to success, never be afraid, follow the feeling from your chest.

God help me please, no more temptations.

I need to be free!
