<p>Hi, I'm Danny.</p><p>I'm an aspiring pro electric guitarist specializing in rock and metal. I am currently enrolled in the Tom Hess Music Careers Mentoring Program (MCMP) and have been studying under renowned virtuoso metal guitarist Nick Layton for about&nbsp;3 years now.</p><p>My writing typically revolves around darker themes, but is still very melodic at the same time. I tend to gravitate towards "modal" and more exotic sounding keys. My lead playing is fundamental but solid. I use a lot of scale runs, sweeps and some tapping in my phrasing, but I'm always expanding my "tool box" every day.</p><p>I teach beginner and intermediate guitar students from my home in Vancouver, WA. My main goals for 2011 are to release my first independent album, start offering instruction tools such as articles and ebooks online, and hopefully find a group of people to perform with that have similar musical influences. I hope to finally launch my website within the next couple weeks.</p><p>Thanks for reading.</p>
