Intro
Its a cold Sunday morning
a distant siren echo's
waking from deep sleep
sunlight starting to creep
Verse 1
A new morning signals a brand new day
can it really be the same as yesterday?
Déjà vu, this room with a shitty view
I held off from saying what i really think
maybe i had too much to drink
Chorus 1
You only seem to love me on the weekends
You only seem to care when you're alone
you only seem to love me on the weekends
this relationship lover
Is over and done
Verse 2
you keep secrets deep within
so many lies where do i begin
i feel betrayed and confused
an emptiness from being used
I should have told you long ago
nothing here, no place to go
there is no us, from today
find yourself another slave
Pre chorus
My head is heavy i feel dazed
stuck in a Sunday morning haze
Chorus 2
You only seem to love me on the weekends
You only seem to care when you're alone
you only seem to love me on the weekends
this relationship, lover
is over and done
You only seem to love me on the weekends
You only seem to care when you're alone
[guitar solo 16 bars]
Bridge
I hope you find happiness
you sure took away mine
go back to your mothers
you're no longer welcome, at mine
Final Chorus
You only seem to love me on the weekends
You only seem to care when you're alone
you only seem to love me on the weekends
this relationship, lover
is over and finally done
You only seem to love me on the weekends
You only seem to care when you're alone
you're not welcome anymore
crawl back to that dirty little whore
Outro
You only ever loved me on the weekends
you only cared when i was stupid
you only ever loved me on the weekends
now those weekends
i will be free

As the other song , Rich. Only the vocals. The music is all recorded in Omnispere 3 using my new tools and mastering tools. Started about 9 months ago with a new set up. I learned a lot about guitar chords with Joseph on our soundtrack work. Omnispere 3 has great guitar sounds, played in real time as always via synths.. but i combine those with a built in tool called Power Guitar as the pinned layer. Acoustic's are the same method, i use Omnispere's arpeggiated system to create the melody... i find the chords easy due to having to give Joseph many, many bass chords so he could record guitars on our soundtrack work... I do sometimes use drum stems but i try to create or use half and half... so i am still recording the music the same way as ever, the tools keep getting better and my years of work acts a good knowledge base.. I plan to work on a soundtrack album with Omnispere 3 soon as i am curious to what i can do with it.
I have quite a few songs Rich now, i used many of my soundtrack i recorded previously and rebuilt them in Omnisphere 3 so i could then very quickly restructure them for the AI vocals with my lyrics... It is hard to explain sometimes as people hear AI and assume no human input, but i am still real-time recording every song and mastering all the sound... including mastering and working with the AI vocalist who i trained up based on many of my older soundtracks.. I use this method for Demo only though. I did try a couple of vocalist's but i was let down and one had crazy high fees which i could not afford. So now with my self employed business, daughter and family, music time is much shorter so AI vocals has helped me as she is always ready in my little studio when i need here 10pm or 6am and this is very helpful but i won't use AI music in my work and to be honest, if you ever hear the AI music stems, they are quite low quality and rough sounding (like lo fi) , not great!
