[Intro]

Here we go again

hiding behind the pain

the sound of distant rain

all my efforts

are in vain?

[Verse 1]

I wish i could live within a dream

visit places that gleam

creative places where nothing is trapped

giant playgrounds with no rules

[Chorus 1]

A place where no one can find me

a place i can do what i want

a place where time stands still

a place where i no longer feel ill

[Verse 2]

Life has a way of turning up

to show its ugly face

at the wrong time

it can take away the smile from your face

leave you feeling completely out of place

distractions from the day to day

that sinking feeling that fails to go away

i had my bad news today,

and i do not know what to take away

[Chorus 2]

a place where no one can find me

a place i can do what i want

a place where time stands still

a place where i no longer feel ill

my time is short so do what i will

it is my choice now,

no bitter pill

[Break]

Bridge

oooooohhhhhhhh

stay

oohhhhhhhhhh

stay

 don't let me disappear

[Final chorus]

I want to be me again,

i don't want to fade away,

i want to see another day,

not religious so wont pray,

i want to be here again,

to the place i can be free

to the places in my dreams

a place where no one can find me

a place i can do what i want

a place where time stands still

a place where i no longer feel ill

[Outro]

A wish for my child to stay strong

ooooooo

for i don't know how long

ooooooooo

i have left ,

to belong when i fade,

i wont forget,

do not carry forward any regrets

stay strong for me

stay,

stay stay

strong for you

A sad but hopeful cinematic/light opera/soundtrack song. I created the music in Omnisphere 3 using both its sophisticated soundtrack sounds and light guitars and percussion. I arpeggiated the acoustic guitars into three layers to create a more realistic sound of strumming, i also use EQ sliders to change the dynamics of each one to give it more depth. The backing opera is also from Omnisphere 3's soundtrack suite (Choir voice sections). The song is a story of a lady who has a young child. She has found out she is terminally ill but is doing her best to stay strong and keep her child strong and ready to deal with what is coming.... and there is a happiness to the lyrics in the sense of the lady in question is happy when she can escape to a fantasy place in her mind where everything is lifted away and she is herself...

I used my trained AI vocalist to sing my lyrics as a template for the time if it comes when i can maybe get a real vocalist to sing on my music?..
