I started piano lessons when I was 8 years old. I played trumpet in the grade school band and all the way thru high school. I even gave the harmonica and the flute a try. I decided to try bass. My reasoning was there were only 4 strings on a bass so it should be easier to play ! How's that for logic? I took bass lessons from this guy, and he kept telling me "your playing guitar lines on a bass, you should be playing guitar." So my hippie friend Ron, had an old 6 string Hohner acoustic with the 1st string gone. I started playing around on it. I quit taking bass lessons and decided to give guitar my full effort. It's a decision I've never regretted.

I've been playing for 30+ years now, I am a rock/blues guitar man, self made, play it all by ear.

I think I've played most of the guitar amps out there. I keep coming back to Marshalls, and Gibsons gee I wonder why that is?

My current set up is a Marshall Vintage/Modern plugged into a Marshall Vintage 1960B full of Celestion Vintage 30s.

Amp number two is a Marshall Mode Four running into a Mesa Engineering 4 X 12 angle top it is also equipped with Vintage 30s.

They are both connected thru a Radial Big Shot ABY to the guitar

My main ax is a Gibson Custom Shop Firebird VII. I also have a custom shop EDS 1275 in Cherry finish.
