<p><span style="font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: courier new,courier; color: #ff6600; font-size: small;">David Fair is a breath of fresh air to the Pop Alternative Rock/World Music
Scene. Expressing an honesty that is touching audiences wherever he performs,
his material and live shows dramatically affect audiences.<br /><br />David was born
to a musical and songwriting family and spent his youth surrounded by music. By
age 8 he was acting, singing, dancing, and playing drums. At the age of 12 he
began modeling professionally, appearing in commercials for Caster Knott, JC
Penny, Taylor Drugs, Dollar General and Fisher Nuts, and appeared in La Boheme,
the opera. <br /><br />At age 15 David formed his first band, ""Walt - Dizzy"".
Creating a southern hard rock sound they opened up for bands such as Steppenwolf
and headlined local shows throughout the South while developing a strong
following. Still in his teens David then joined the hard rock metal band
Medicine Mann as front man and co-songwriter and toured the south, opening for
such bands as: Quiet Riot, Skid - Row, Warrant, Twisted Sister, and Mother
Earth. In 1999 he moved to San Francisco to develop his solo career and broaden
his musical focus to all forms of rock and world music.<br /><br />The David of
today expresses all that is good in Pop while maintaining the edginess of his
hard rock and metal influences. David lists his Major Influences as: Joe Fair
(his father), Billy Falcon, John Gorka, John Prine, Billy Joel, Bon Jovi, Tracy
Chapman, and Peter Gabriel. <br /><br />David is currently living in Nashville and
is writing and performing.He is also part of the Sowing Circle threaded by Billy
& Rose Falcon , with Maydayground, the Mulch Brothers, Pino, Danny Salazar, Jon Yudkin, Todd Cooper, Brad Nelson and
friends.<br /><br /></span></span></p>
