Our genre is a combination of Hip-Hop, Rap and some R&B. “Nothing ventured, Nothing gained” is a phrase that is important to us especially in the Music world. No one is going to hand you anything, you have to prove to them that you want it and then go get it.

The sole purpose is to entertain and express to the world our talents and in some way an alternate level of consciousness. Deucez is currently in the recording studio putting tracks together and rehearsing for shows. They made Performances at Honey-Soul Thursdays open mic. Rana Loca is a new venue for Them showcase on Wednesdays. They also featured at the Boston Round-up 2009. Multiple track Mix-Tape will be released soon. We’ve Performed with many artists and coligues in Greensboro, NC and the Cup of Serinity Café on Fridays with D2BD Entertainment. Still we thrive.

Bray Sapient and Marshal P have been together since 1995 in a former group, B.O.O.M. (Brothers of One Mind). We were involved in talent shows, birthday parties. After a few setbacks that group had ceased, however, the music never stopped. We were re-introduced as “Deucez” early 2009. Our goal is to break into the Music world as a group that no one can say “ They remind me of_______” We strive for our own genre and a new way to introduce music. One day we want the spotlight, Videos, National and World Tours and all the benefits that comes with entertaining the world. We Just want to make music our living. Deucez don’t want the whole world, just our slice of the Globe.

“…trying to make it to the top, they act like they don’t know me!..” is a bar from one of our songs and it depicts that a goal is trying to be reached and some how whether it’s jealousy, hate or it’s just that they don’t care, you get overlooked. “Smoke City” is the CD title and it says where we’re from Winston-Salem born and raised, Home of RJR tobacco and a label Marshal P of Deucez designated where we are. Not just da Trey fo, but “Smoke City”.

There are many things we want to accomplish, most we have to do on our own. So many people in the world can give opportunities to those who desire it. For Us the desire is there, and to those who believe in us, we wait at the door patiently still making music and hope for that Knock.

So , “…..If music is passion, the need for passion will enable you…” Bray Sapient.
