The Michael Jackson Immortal Band With Your´s Truly!!! :)

Hi, Just wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, and give you an update on The Michael Jackson Immortal Band Gig/Jam Session I did last Monday December 17th. I got a call last Friday asking if I could play with the MJ band, because Jonathan "Sugarfoot" Moffett, wouldn´t be able to make it, and if I could also find a good bass player to sub for their regular bass player. After about 20+ emails back and forth with Mike Phillips, (sax with the MJ Immortal Band) we put the program together. The bass player and I basically only had one day to learn the music, and then had a rehearsal/sound check on the day of the gig. All I can say is, it was absolutely amazing. I played a 1 1/2 hour set with the MJ band, and then Jonathan "Sugarfoot" Moffet showed up to finish the remainder of the set. It was so much fun to play with these legends. There was a video stream on the club´s website, and I had lots of friends tell me they saw it in the USA, and Canada.
Here is a description of what went down, a video link. I`ll be posting some photos of the concert as well.

All the best,
DICARLO

Description:

The Ultimate Immortal Christmas Jam Session

The Ultimate Christmas Jam Session at QUASIMODO Berlin On Monday, 17th at 10pm "The Ultimate Christmas Jam Session” happened. Yeah, was awesome!!! :) All legends. Greg Philliganes (Musical Director for MJ and also Lionel Ritchie) since the 80´s. Jonathan "Sugarfoot" Moffett was with MJ since The Jackson Five, plus Madonna, Elton John, etc. He paid me a major compliment on my drumming. Great musicians, and nice people. That´s what it´s all about.:) The woman that made this video says she has more. I´m waiting for her to post them, and I will post them here as well.
MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! :)

@Joseph, Yes it was!!! And with MJ´s original keyboarder/musical director Greg Phillinganes, who played on ALL the Michael Jackson albums, and did ALL the live tours up until MJ´s death. Greg was also Lionel Ritchie´s musical director, and the top studio keyboard player in LA during the 80´s-90´s, and played on just about every album that was recorded in LA during that period. :) What an honor to share the stage with him. :)
